You access the building via a shared hallway and then climb the private staircase to the first floor which opens to a landing. The living/dining room is inviting and drenched in natural light from the large bay window. The open plan layout is perfect for enjoying a hearty meal after a busy day in the lakes then offers an easy transition to the comfy sofas, where you can relax in front of the fire with a good film on the TV. On the same level, there is a modern kitchen with a full range of amenities to satisfy any “want to be” chef. Also on the first floor is the first of the double bedrooms which is spacious. Moving to the second floor there is a spacious twin bedroom and the master bedroom which offers a super king bed and en-suite bathroom with a bath to soak those aching muscles after a full day’s activities.
The location of Woodys is one of its best assets, as a short walk takes you into the heart of Bowness with excellent shopping, restaurants, pubs and cafés. Bowness is home to the World of Beatrix Potter attraction and is one of the Lakeside locations that gives access to Windermere Cruises. The cruises are not only a lovely way to spend an afternoon but also give access to our Lake locations such as Ambleside and Lakeside which puts a wide variety of other attractions and activities within easy reach, these include The Lakes Aquarium, water sports such as boat hire, longboarding, canoes or visit Brockhole with the family for Archery, Laser Clay pigeon shooting, Tree Trek adventure, Crazy caving and much more. Whatever your pleasure whether you love National Trust properties, gardens, museums, cycling, walking or just taking in some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, it’s all easily accessible from this property.
