Hi there! Thank you for your detailed and balanced review. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the apartment’s location, the beautiful views over the park and towards Latrigg, and the sound of the river flowing by — it really is a special setting. It’s also wonderful to know that the kitchen and bathroom stood out and that you found the apartment a good size for a couple. Thank you as well for your constructive feedback. We appreciate your comments regarding the kitchen window surround and the areas that could benefit from a little extra attention and TLC. Feedback like this is always helpful, and we’ll ensure it is passed on to the owner for consideration. We understand that mattress comfort is very much a personal preference, but we appreciate you sharing your thoughts. And, as you’ve highlighted, the apartment is situated on the upper floor, so the stairs are worth bearing in mind for guests with mobility concerns. We’re so pleased you enjoyed your stay overall and found it a great base, with the town centre just a few minutes away. We’d be very happy to welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages
