Cot, highchair and stairgate available.. Enclosed garden with outdoor seating. Wood-fired Hot Tub (private). Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking.. Aldersyde is a large detached traditional stone built house sitting on the hillside overlooking the quiet coastal village of Tighnabruaich on the Cowal Peninsula.  Aldersyde has space for all the family to spread out and enjoy their holiday.  There is a games room with table tennis and pool table, plus a small children’s playroom with toys and games.  The kitchen leads into the lounge which provides a very sociable area for everyone to be together.  There is one bedroom downstairs and three further bedrooms upstairs.

The two double bedrooms upstairs have a view to the sea.  The large garden is fully enclosed with a lawn to the side. The sea front is within 200 metres, at the bottom of the hill and the village shops and eateries are only one mile away.  The small selection of local shops includes a grocery, cafe, post office, bank, gallery, craft shop and hotels with pub and restaurants.  There is a local 9-hole golf course, tennis courts and a sailing school which you can see from the house.

We spent a very enjoyable few days at Aldersyde and appreciated the space for the whole family.

We spent a very enjoyable few days at Aldersyde and appreciated the space for the whole family. There were a couple of niggles which were responded to quickly. You can walk from the house along to the next harbour. We drove to Olist beach one day, which is stunning and we’d recommend the coffee roasters cafe en route. Note the local shop has a minimum £5 spend on a card. Beautiful sea views from the front of the house.
