This refurbished 1st floor apartment along Via degli Asili inside the Walls of Lucca provides all the warmth and sophistication required for your visit to Tuscany. This upscale apartment is located within 2 mins walking distance of small shops and great restaurants, as well as the chic street via Fillungo and all famous monuments and landmarks of Lucca.

At Casa Edgar, you will find an elegant grand living room with double height, a fabulous fully equipped kitchen and 2 bedrooms each one with its own bathroom. The whole apartment is air conditioned and has a good WIFI.



Composition: located one floor above the ground level, 26 steps only to get into the living room, fully equipped kitchen (in a closet are available clothes washer and dryer) master bedroom, bathroom with built shower.

Upstairs: corridor with spacious wardrobe, a second full bathroom with a built shower, a loft with a double size sofa bed to accommodate a 3rd and 4th guest and a desk which makes it ideal for guests to work remotely.

A real nice place

This is real nice place that appears to have been completely renovated yesterday and in very good taste. The second “bedroom” is an open loft space with a sofa bed above the living room and so does not have complete privacy. Light and sounds easily travel between the two spaces. The location is toward the north section of the city within the city walls. Great restaurants, bars, shops, and grocery stores are within a few minutes walk. If you’re thinking of having a car in this town, forget it!

A Lovely 3 Weeks At Casa Edgar

We liked the helpful and charming Cristina, the central location and the recently renovated apartment's set-up with its attractive appeal. Suggestions: a rack of some kind in the showers for toiletries, more clear instructions for use of the washer/dryer, and, for those staying longer than a week, a change in towels & sheets. Also, while we didn't mind this, there was occasional street noise at late hours [and early hours], which might be an issue for some.

A great property and management team but noisy front door

I stayed 50 nights at Casa Edgar throw April through June. I fully enjoyed my stay. It's a wonderful property: clean, well-furnished, a modern re-modeled building; cable TV and internet; good location inside the wall in Lucca. It's just missing bathrobes and slippers for the guests! The property management team is good and always accessible via the What's App app. We had a couple of very small communication issues - like where the garbage drop off was located - but both were easily resolved. They are a good team. The only complaint I have has nothing to do with the apartment but instead the building itself. There are about 6 - 8 units in the building and they all use the front door for access. This door is typical of buildings in Lucca as it is large, heavy, and made of wood. Well, it is loud when closed - very loud. So, get used to hearing the door closed. Overall, it is a quiet building (outside the door) and the neighborhood is quiet. Though, there is a school next door so at times you will hear the students come and go. I would rent this property again.
