About this property

Crail Posthouse - 19th Century traditional house

This stylish 19th century house lies in the conservation area in the heart of Crail. This property provides the perfect base for discovering the many delights of the area such as quaint fishing villages, the Fife Coastal Path and historic St Andrews, the home of golf.

Crail Posthouse is a spacious middle and top floor property sleeping 5 in two double and one single bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, one with a freestanding bath. The bright mid-floor sitting room, which has a wood burning stove, opens into an open plan kitchen/diner, and on the top floor there is a small sitting room/library with views across the rooftops to the sea.

The house is full of special touches like original photographs, Scottish fabrics, Swedish throws, down duvets and Designer Guild wallpapers. The property has retained many original features such as the pine staircase and woodwork, but added oak and tiled floors and quality furnishings.

After a rewarding day out it’s lovely to relax in the bright sitting room with its bay window overlooking the whitewashed and stone houses that form the quiet residential part of Crail High Street. On cold days enjoy the wood burning stove and enjoy one of our extensive collection of DVDs – or log into your Netflix account on our smart TV.
