The villa and garden are for the exclusive use of guests with the exception of a small apartment inhabited by the owner.
The location is very convenient and central for reaching the cities of Montecatini Terme (12km), Lucca (19km), Pisa (40km), Pistoia (30km), Viareggio (56km), Florence (58km). Chiesina Uzzanese exit of the A11 motorway at 10 km. 6 km away, in the small village of Collodi, you can bring your children to visit the Pinocchio Park and the gardens of Villa Garzoni. Furthermore, with a day trip, you can reach the enchanting Cinque Terre villages (119 km), both by car and by train.

Lovely Tuscan retreat

Very quiet location (slightly challenging roads on approach but that’s because of where the property is) - well appointed, great communicative host, some thoughtful touches (a basket of freshly picked plums - thank you).Only minor niggle was the property was a little warm (it was a heatwave though) and a fan would assist with comfort.A great stay would recommend.

Spectacular location

We woke up to birds singing and the leaves rustling in a slight breeze. View out window was lovely. Close to Pescia, Lucca, Montecatini Terme. Nice house and accommodations. Only suggestion would be to have a couple comfortable chairs to relax in. Owner was very pleasant. Wonderful restaurant up the mountain at end of the road. (If going up for Saturday evening supper-make a reservation.)

Paradies!

Wir sind ein Paar in mittleren Alter und verbringen unsere Haupturlaube seit Jahren meist bei privaten Vermietern. Zeitraum meist 3 Wochen zu ähnlichen Konditionen, können so inzwischen recht zuverlässig das jeweilige Objekt bewerten. Die Villa Camelia gehört zu den wirklich außergewöhnlichen Domizilien, wie hier im Portal auch bereits von anderen Gästen wahrheitsgemäß und sehr löblich besprochen. (Sauberkeit-Lage, etc.) Vielleicht können wir noch einige Einzelheiten hinzufügen: das Haus ( und der Garten) ist liebevoll bis ins Detail ausgestattet ; bitte beachten Sie die vielen kleinen Gemälde-Kunstwerke-die überall im Haus für eine persönliche und anspruchsvolle Atmosphäre sorgen. Sie fügen sich harmonisch zu größtenteils wunderbar stimmigen und authentische Inneneinrichtung! Oben Parkettböden, Stilmöbel im großen Schlaf, top Matratzenqualität; Bad mit Marmorwaschbecken, etc. Es liegt immer ein feiner, leicht holziger Duft im Raum (Echtholztreppe). Im unteren Bereich leicht zu reinigende Fliesen- Küchenausstattung sehr umfangreich; alles sehr sauber und top gepflegt! All dies wäre aber nur eine von vielen anderen ebenfalls schönen Ferienwohnungen, würde sie nicht ganz entscheidend aufgewertet und belebt durch die freundliche Anwesenheit von Marisa, Francesco's Mutter die einen Nebentrakt bewohnt, sowie Francesco's unaufdringliche und anderswo selten gesehene Hilfsbereitschaft und aufrichtige Gastfreundschaft in Fragen jeglicher Hinsicht! Herzlichen Dank für Alles!

Mooi huis letterlijk "at the end of the road"

De weg er naar toe was bijzonder. Na een warme ontvangst door de eigenaar hebben we een paar heerlijke dagen gehad. Het weer zat niet altijd mee maar het uitzicht en de omgeving maakten veel goed. Het huis is goed verzorgd en van alle gemakken voorzien.

Villa en pleine nature

Nous avons passé un séjour en toute quiétude (6 nuitées) dans la villa de Marisa. L'hébergement se situe sur une colline, avec une vue imprenable sur les alentours, avec un silence uniquement ponctué par le chant des oiseaux. Cette douce quiétude permet indéniablement de se resourcer après les visites trépidantes de Florence, de San Gimignano ou encore de Voltera. Les différents équipements de la villa (la cuisine contenant tous les accessoires nécessaires pour cuisiner au mieux les produits locaux trouvés à Lucca, par exemple…), les salles de bain spacieuses, les terrasses ombragées… Bref, une perle de villa !
