Very welcoming. The crackers, cheese, and wine were a thoughtful treat. Peter introducing us to the place was helpful. All the instructions were also helpful.
The apartment had everything one could want. The location was perfect - 15 min walk to the University, 10 min walk downtown or to the Prom. And Cathy was exceptional - she made everything easier than one could expect
What a fabulous place to stay if you’re visiting Galway. Liz was an extremely gracious host and actually spent some time with me while I was there. I met two of her children as well. The apartment was beautiful, everything you need is there and the proximity to fun things was great. Hopefully I can stay there another time as well.
Very well located. The parking driveway is very narrow, so be careful of the bump-out on the lower side wall. Other than that, we had everything needed for our stay. We highly recommend.
Great apartment and location! The apartment is well-appointed, has a comfy bed and good water pressure in the shower - all a traveler can hope for! About a 15min walk to the Latin Quarter, but there is tasty coffee, restaurants and local music even closer. Great hosts!
Check in worked smoothly with a printed version of the thorough directions (not great for reading off a phone). The interior of the apartment had everything we needed and plenty of wonderful books and visiting guides. The apartment is perfectly located next to public transportation and within walking distance of the west end and Latin Quarter.
We enjoyed our visit a lot. The appartement was cozy, the manager super friendly and helpful. It's situated just right in the town to be quite to relax and sleep but just around the corner from all the good pubs. Thanks a million!
Great spot if you’re considering places to stay in Galway. Easily walkable to all the sites and restaurants on our list. The townhouse had what we needed and was a comfortable place to relax at night.
The apartment was absolutely perfect, the car park was really handy to have (although a tight squeeze to get into it so be confident with your driving), the apartment was so much better than the pictures and a perfect spot for exploring Galway, we were close enough to the hustle and bustle without being kept up by it into the late hours. The kitchen had everything we needed (despite not using it as we enjoyed some fab food out in Galway), the living area was good and you could get Netflix on the TV if you wanted, the bed was comfy and enough space to hang all our clothes up for the weekend!Towels were provided and apartment was spotlessWould 100% recommend to anyone staying in Galway!
We had a wonderful time the apartment and location could not have been better for us. We would definitely use this location again. Peter the manager was super helpful and friendly.
Great communication with owner Liz—loved the accommodations and location and will recommend it to friends. Piotr was always nearby and helpful.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights.
We particularly loved the location. Very close to several lively pubs and eateries but far enough away to be v quiet.
The apartment was spotlessly clean, the kitchen well equipped the bed comfortable..
Minor quibbles, the duvet was a bit thin and it would have been nice to have a shower mat to avoid slipping
We found this apartment cozy, clean and well-equipped. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, but within easy walking distance of major sites and plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops. The hosts were helpful and well-organized. We enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again!
My faience and I had a wonderful visit. It was perfect distance away from everything! Parking was very convenient, and the apartment was well kept and clean. We would definitely stay again in our future!
This apartment exceeded all of our expectations. It was spacious, very well equipped, and walking distance from everything. The bathroom is large, and the washer and dryer are in excellent condition. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to make a full meal at home. The living room has a spacious sitting area, and the bed is very comfortable. Oh, and did I mention the heated bathroom floor - like heaven on your feet after a long day... We are quite well travelled, and I can say without hesitation that this is one of the nicest VRBO's we've stayed in. I would highly recommend it!
Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. Great shower, clean. Host was responsive when needed. 10 minute walk to center of Galway, 3 minute walk to restaurants, pubs, and supermarket, 20 minute walk to Salthill. Loved our stay and would definitely stay again.
Nice place to stay for two persons. Kittchen well equiped. Helpfull person at all all times near to the appartement. Very close to sights, restaurants, Pubs...
I stayed here for 2 weeks while doing some business in Galway. The place was better than what the pictures show. It had everything I needed, was quiet, and was very close to the old part of Galway so I could walk to all the local attractions and restaurants. The location is really perfect for visiting Galway and I highly recommend it. Good value for the price!

About the host
Hosted by Cathy Morgan
We've enjoyed many travels ourselves over the years and stayed in many hotels. Often great but sometimes misery when we would have preferred the comfort & privacy of our own apartment or town house! Putting all this into good practice in our solid and beautiful Silver Crescent Townhouse & Coach House in Galway City, we consistently offer superbly high standards to the active traveller in top notch and welcoming home-from-home environments.
For 1 to 2 weeks and more, we are here - working hard to maintain the things that count – fresh & clean homes, top quality finishes, services & utilities, fine fresh bed linens, duvets & pillows, beds fully made up, fridge freshly stocked with Useful Items, and our Local Guides on where to go and what to do!

Why they chose this property
Our top notch short stay options are just 5 mins away from the liveliest quarters of Town yet peaceful and quiet for a great night’s sleep. Galway City is alive with visitors, restaurants, cafes, and unique traditional Irish pubs and live music and you will have made an excellent choice by staying with us on The Crescent. Galway is a great town! - the capital city of Connacht is a bustling, lively and creative university city that sits at the end of Lough Corrib and the River Corrib as it wends its way to the Atlantic Ocean. Long a busy merchant town with a serious maritime tradition and backdrop, Galway’s trading history can be seen in town canals, water breaks & salmon weirs, pier heads, and sea-side promenades and walkways, plus rich ancient woodlands that survive in precious pockets around the town. Our location on The Crescent is part of this older world of Galway going back to the early 1830’s - when trains ran to Clifden, and a tramline ran from Eyre Square via The Crescent to the seaside promenades of Salthill. Our Town Apartments are located in and elegant Townhouse some 160 years standing, and we do everything we can to maintain the ambience of this lovely old period house accompanied by some beautiful & contemporary touches and features of today.
