Cute and cozy, very well equipped for a multiple-day stay. Complete kitchen, comfortable bed and plenty of space, in a welcoming and secure area. We would definitely book again.
An older apartment building but definitely a cool place to stay. Reall cute shared courtyard with cornhole, a small pavilion, and bbq grill. Great value.
Comfortable apartment with everything we needed for our week stay in Tampa. Great location with a coffee shop and restaurants in the vicinity. Safe, clean, and affordable!
The place was clean and cute. Everything I needed was available and the property was secure. 10/10 - will be booking again if i come back through Tampa.
Super clean, comfortable, and pretty secured property! Went to Lightning and Bucs games, so good location close to both, and only a short ways to our Busch Gardens visit! I'd definitely consider this spot for round #2!
A very clean and nice place to stay! We live in the country so the heavy traffic noise starting about 4:30 am was very noticeable. A great location to explore all directions from Tampa!
I found a location to be convenient to all my shopping needs and tourism found management and staff to be exceptionally customer oriented responded immediately with any questions or concerns. Found the apartment to be very clean and very comfortable and exceptionally accommodating. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and I am definitely coming back next year.
This was my 2nd time staying at this property. It’s a very quiet and small complex. There is great parking, I also love the grilling area and corn toss game. The unit was clean as in the photos. I’d definitely recommend and would stay again.
Nice apartment, no major issues (a little snag when checking in, but it was resolved staight away after sending a message). No problems throughout a 10-day stay. Would book again.
The Inn the Heights was delightful in all respects. Apartment 2, where I stayed for three nights, is a full on, one-bedroom apartment. It's stocked with everything you need - maybe even better than your own place is! The Inn is tricky to find and there's no sign announcing it. Here's how to find it: the Inn is at the intersection of EAST Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and Tampa Street. Look for the sign that reads, "Baycrest Academy Child Care Center"; it's right in that parking lot.
There's not much in the way of stores, shops, attractions in this neighborhood. But also, there's none of the "tourist vibe" that's so prevalent in parts of Tampa. If it's tourist stuff you seek, you'll need to drive or take Ubers to them.
There is no check-in desk. After all, this is no Econolodge or Ramada. Rather, Alex, the owner, will send you a text (best ro have a Smart Phone!) telling you the code for the front gate and for your apartment.
Inn the Heights used to be a single-level string of rental units which Alex has lovingly turned into a cheerful, peaceful AirB&B. And it's great.
When I return to Tampa, I won't bother with looking for any other place to stay.
Just great!
“Sleeps 4” is a bit of a stretch. There’s one full sized bed and one full sized pull out bed which was stained pretty badly so we didn’t even end up using it. Otherwise the place was great, I would stay here again.
While the Property was in great shape, very clean, If you rent the unit that is beside the main office you may be annoyed by the constant slamming of the door by the employees going in and out all day long, perhaps using a different door on the opposite side of the building might alleviate this. The traffic on the street is heavy but we got use to the noise. The community sitting area and BBQ was nice to have. Andrew was very prompt when we had a problem with the Air Conditioner. I would stay here again it was worth the money.
Overall was not clean. Towels had hair on them. Lizards and many bugs inside.
Code did not work to get inside. Thankfully found a number on the building to call because owner did not answer once.
Not a safe neighborhood. Very hard to find apartment. Overall not very happy.
I had almost everything I needed. Appreciated the toaster and the Mr. Coffee though I had to use paper towels to make my coffee. No big deal. Really loved the jasmine trees, flowers and garden in the entrance and how well kept it was.
