Double Trouble- 4 BR, 3 Bath with elevator in a GREAT Surf City location and private beach access right across the street! Very comfortable and well maintained home with elevator- No hauling your suitcases & groceries up flights of stairs- The elevator provides easy access from the ground floor to the middle bedroom level and top floor reverse floor plan, with the upper living, dining and kitchen taking in the ocean views, and the top floor bedroom. The middle level has 3 bedrooms, 2 walking out to the large middle deck, and the 4th bedroom with two sets of bunk beds. There is an easy access garage to store your beach coolers and chairs, and plenty of parking in the driveway. Don't miss out on this amazing very well maintained home- the perfect stay for your Topsail vacation! This home does not include linens and towels. Guest have access to the lower level garage & large paved parking area which can park 6 vehicles or give you room to gather around the grills & enjoy the evening. Charcoal and gas grills provided, and a private outdoor shower with changing area makes washing off the sand simple. A great house with lots of space to spread out for a big group, yet priced below most elevator homes! Conveniently located between Surf City and Topsail Beach for easy access to stores, restaurants, piers & lots more. Check in is at 3pm and check out is 10 am. A great home at an affordable price & so close to the beach! No smoking on the premises and NO PETS permitted.

Great spot in Surf City!

Great experience with this rental. I would make folks aware that you need to bring sheets and towels which travelling across country caught us by surprise, but other than that, it was a lovely experience, lovely location and great home!

Easy beach access and ocean view

A very comfortable home. Elevator was helpful when moving in and out with baggage and supplies. Hurricane Debby limited our beach time but we made the best of it with kids movies, games and lots of ice cream. We would rent this home again for our family vacation.

Epic trip

The house was perfect for my family and my friends family. The kids loved all the outdoor space. The elevator was great for groceries, getting unpacked/packed and the kiddos to the beach. Kitchen is well stocked, small fridge in garage is nice for beverages. Beach access was perfect, surf fishing was fantastic! I definitely will be renting this place for next year!

The property manager stayed in touch with me before we came because I had made res with an invalid email and vrbo did a terrible job of fixing the situation. Lisa from Myers realty was a rockstar, sending me screen shots of vrbo info so we were informed and could check in. Then the owner of our property, Gary, was staying at the adjacent beach house and was an incredible host. He and his niece welcomed us with muffins, and he gave us his phone #. The beach house was fabulous! Very well appointed (remember to bring bed and bath linens, though, as the cottages in this area do not provide those), and pretty!! The queen beds were comfortable, but the twins were a little less so (for adults). Private beach access was RIGHT across the street and the beach was wonderful. Not at all crowded but you could see people out along the beach. Very relaxing!! Water was a great temperature—not too cold or too warm—and we even swam when it rained, it was that nice!! A really wonderful stay, and we WILL be back!!

Down the street from heaven

We were eight “Bronze Beauties” for most of our time at Surf City in Double Trouble. The spacious house was just as described and was easy to access. The modern kitchen was stocked with just about anything one would need to prepare any type of meal. We cooked breakfast for eight on all but one day we were there and never had to say that we wished the place had a “thingamajig.” Everything was orderly and clean, and those of us who shared the two bedrooms that open onto a second-floor deck were extremely pleased to be able to watch the waves roll across the ocean and even on one day to watch the sunrise. The weather during our stay was iffy, but the storms and rain usually ceased long enough for us to quickly drive to and enjoy the Ocean City Jazz Festival in the Ocean City Community of North Topsail Beach. The jazz fest was our primary reason for being on the island. When the welcomed elevator/lift malfunctioned, the owner, who was next door, quickly got it in working order again. That convenience was a boon to our octet of mature women of a certain age. We made regular use of it going from floor to floor and transporting our luggage and foodstuffs up and down. Though, we did not use them, folding and beach chairs filled the garage space. We did use the outdoor shower, and were happy to wash away beach sand there. Several in our group wished that each of the bedrooms had had a small television. This was a longing made more acute because the weather kept us inside more than we had expected to be. But we spent a lot of quality time playing card games around the kitchen table. Still, the Bronze Beauties all said that we would happily occupy Double Trouble again. Of course, good friends more than accommodations determine one’s level of happiness, but we give this experience a 5.

This place was the best place we ever stayed. Clean, Great Location, everything you'd ever need in the kitchen. Beach access is across the street. Just loved everything about this place. Had a fantastic vacation! Only improvement I'd recommend is a stronger Wifi as it could not support my Zoom meetings.

Best Vacation Ever!!!

We spent 2 weeks at Double Trouble! Our son got married in Wilmington and we made an extended vacation out of the occasion! The house was perfect for our family! Lots of space and the house was equipped with everything we needed! The elevator was awesome for loading and unloading luggage and groceries and for my 80 year old mother who has problems with stairs! The beach access was so close and an easy quick walk to the beautiful beach! The beach was not crowded and was just perfect! I would highly recommend this rental and we will stay again! The owners are so nice and were quick to resolve an issue we had with the elevator. The button was just stuck but it was resolved within a few hours! Perfect vacation!!!

House was very clean upon arrival and kitchen was very well equipped. The outside shower was a big plus! Everyone enjoyed their stay and would rent again. Beach access was convenient and the beach area was awesome. No crowds, plenty of room for the kids to play.

A great place to stay

As a group of 7, we fit well in the house. Having private beach access is a fantastic that we didn't realize until getting there. I would fully recommend this place for a relaxing beach trip. The only thing that was a little strange for us was the requirement for us to supply our own linens, soap, and paper products.

Perfect Home for a Beach Vacation!

The home has wonderful views, a large, well stocked kitchen, a nice floor plan, comfortable furnishings, excellent WiFi, and is in an excellent location surrounded only by other homes (no condos, hotels, or public beach parking) making it seem like you have the beach almost to yourselves. It’s just a few miles from restaurants and stores.
