Great location. In town but private and quiets. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped . Deck was a great hangout got sunsets. Throughly enjoyed our stay
Andrew was quick to respond every time. The beds are extremely comfortable. The location is convenient to everything (downtown, trails, college) while being so secluded it felt like you were miles away. Keep in mind that two bedrooms plus the Den are downstairs. Not a problem, but something to note as it makes the bottom bathroom quite crowded if you have all rooms filled. Will 100% stay here again for our next visit.
This property was in excellent condition and well provisioned with useful lighting and outlets for charging devices. I’d be hard pressed to come up with any deficiencies during our visit. I appreciate the availability of EV charging even though we did not need to use it during our visit.
We truly enjoyed our stay! It felt like a home away from home. Andrew is a gracious host and very responsive. The house is beautiful and spacious. It is very well equipped and stocked with the basic necessities. Location is perfect, close to hiking trails and walking distance to main street. We highly recommend this vacation home and would stay here again.
We had a multigenerational family trip; it was perfect for grandpa and grandma upstairs and then two couples and 3 kids on the lower level. One child was only 15 months and having a pack and play, highchair, and baby gates was helpful! We enjoyed the front deck and it was in a central Durango location. It was a great stay.
I couldn't have loved this house more. It was a perfect location to walk to the train station/downtown (about 15 minutes). It's not right in town on a busy street so it doesn't have loud street noise (the train can still be heard), but we could easily relax among the trees on the porches using the ample seating that's provided. We had 5 adults, 2 children and 2 75lbs dogs and we were very comfortable and uncrowded from the number of beds/bedrooms, couch seating and the dinner table. They provided plenty of plates, cookware, kitchen utensils, towels and blankets. After payment has been made in full Andrew provided us with a list of his recommendations for activities and we're thankful he did. The Hundred Gold Mine wasn't on our list of things to do and it ended up being my daughter and father in law's favorite part of the trip (the guided tour is thoroughly informative). I loved this house so much I would live there. Needless to say I would absolutely book the Hideout again.
