Travel cot, highchair and stairgate. Welcome pack. Enclosed garden with patio and garden furniture. 2 small, mature dogs welcome. Private parking for 2 medium cars. Electric vehicle charging point (at cost). No smoking.. Just a short walk from the popular ’Venice of the Cotswolds’ village of Bourton-on-the-Water sits this beautiful cottage. The open plan living/dining/kitchen area with its cosy wood burner offers sociable accommodation for all the family including your doggy members and tiny tots! The owners have made sure they have used their years of experience being holiday letting hosts to ensure each of their guests have a fabulous experience using their well-equipped and comfortable vacation rental. With lots of traditional features including exposed stonework, beams and lots of character.

Head out to the pretty garden and enjoy a glass of wine in the sunshine and discover the “den” (open seasonally from Easter to after October half term) which is a charming shepherd’s hut nestled in the garden, offering a cosy retreat for both children and adults. It’s a versatile space where guests can engage in various activities, from reading an array of books to enjoying quiet moments or even sharing a snack in a serene and picturesque setting. You can also go through the “secret gate” at the back of the garden which gives direct access to the children’s play park and playing field.

Opposite the cottage is a great pub and within a few minutes’ walk, you’ll discover many more pubs, restaurants, tea rooms, cafés and a plethora of independent shops. Meander along the River Windrush, have a paddle during the warmer months or simply enjoy a picnic whilst watching the world go by. Other places of interest within walking distance include bird park with many different species to see, the motor museum, Bourton-on-the-Water’s Model Village and museum, perfumery and maze.

Still want to see more? Well join one of the many footpaths leading into the beautiful Cotswolds countryside or take a drive round the nearby quintessential English villages stopping at traditional pubs and tea rooms. Stow-on-the-Wold is less than 4 miles away with a great high street full of independent shops, restaurants and pubs. Other local towns and villages within easy reach include Moreton-in-Marsh, Upper and Lower Slaughter, Chipping Norton, Cheltenham; home to the famous horse racing festival and Kingham to name a few.
