Foggy Mountain Cabin is the perfect getaway for a romantic weekend or a vacation with the children. This 2 1/2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin with a hot tub is very well appointed and is nestled in a quiet gated community with all the amenities. A very well stocked kitchen, large deck area, and outside fire pit are just a few items that you are sure to enjoy at this cute and cozy cabin. Living room and bedrooms all have TV's.
To cool off on a hot summer day, be sure to visit Fall Creek Falls State Park and their Olympic-sized pool with children’s wading pool, bathhouses and a snack bar. Lifeguards on Duty. Open 10am-5:30pm June/July Daily – August Weekends Only - $6 pp, per day; children 2 and under free. Beautiful Fall Creek Falls State Park is also home to 21 waterfalls, 4 suspension bridges, lakes, and hiking trails. Other hiking favorites are: Savage Falls, Cummins Falls, Burgess Falls, Virgin Falls and more. There are also multiple local fishing spots, backroads and walking trails to explore. Other notable attractions are: Bone's Cave (16 mi), Cumberland Caverns (18mi), Falcon's Rest (20 mi), and Rock Island State Park (22 mi).

Great location

Our family had a great stay. Less than 10 minutes from Fall Creek Falls State Park and about 50 minutes from Rock Island State Park. The house had everything we needed and the hot tub was wonderful after hiking all day!

The single beds were terribly uncomfortable. But that room was deliciously dark.The kitchen was so dark I brought the floor lamp into the kitchen to see the stove. There is a missing stove light. We only discovered the kitchen window light Friday night. A floor plan with light switches would be very helpful. The living room was lovely and inviting. The hot tub was heavenly. The bathrooms were fine. The porch is inviting. We arrived after dark. It was so dark! I can’t remember if the porch light was on but that would definitely be helpful for greeting arrivals.

Fantastic getaway

The cabin and property were as stated, and it sits in an adorable quiet community. Just the right distance from the city, and easy access to Fall Creek Falls for some outdoor activities, scenic drives and hiking. We enjoyed our stay very much, grateful for the relaxation it provided!

It's a beautiful place to stay. I would love to stay again. The only complaint I have is the solar power lights was not working. The walkway is very dark.
