Larger than I expected. Very charming street with easy and great food. Host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I would absolutely stay again and recommend.
It was wonderful and the location is incredible. Literally walk out your door and you’re beside amazing restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops. They helped with transport to the location and back to the airport. Only thing to ask about is a Rome tax that has to be paid in cash and the cleaning bill. Ask what that is ahead of time so you have it on hand. If you book here you won’t regret it.
Great communication through the whole process. Valerie was a pleasure to meet, great attitude, and he walked me through the whole process. The location was fantastic for local eats and allowed us to walk to everything we wanted to see. Apartment was bigger than we expected as well!
The apartment is clean and taken care of. Trastevere is a great neighborhood and I would definitely recommend--great restaurants, bars, local shops etc. Close to many major attractions. We lived the area and will go back. The only slight negative on the apartment is you can hear noise from the bar next door in the larger bedroom but nothing that was so loud that it kept us up. Host was gracious and very helpful with dining ideas, neighbor hood etc. he even came back and helped us with the heat. Would stay there again
Great apartment in the heart of Trastevere! We loved our stay and the check in and ammenities were exactly what we wanted. Would have enjoyed a lottle.more comfortable bed, but typical for Europe. Great to be able to step out of your flat and be in the middle of the best food and our favorite neighborhold Rome has!
While we were very excited to stay in Rome, the messages we received prior to check-in were a distraction. The listing including the fee for the apartment and a cleaning fee, but were also told via WhatsApp that we would need to pay the cleaning fee in cash along with the city tax. We expected the city taxes, but it was very confusing that the cleaning fee was listed on our card invoice AND also being required to pay in cash, which we discovered was a way for them to avoid extra taxes. We paid the cleaning fee on our card as originally expected. The dishes and glasses were dirty upon check-in, which wouldn't have been a big issue if we had access to a dishwasher (but it's locked/unaccessable/unusable?). Each guest was provided with a mini soap bar and a packet of shampoo for the week. The showers are exceptionally small, but we understand that is typical for the region. The location is wonderful and really in the heart of a great area. That being said, bring ear plugs or other sleep tools if needed because the street noise will carry. This is a two bedroom apartment, and if you are relying on the third sleeping space just know that it's right at the entry of the apartment and off the kitchen, so whoever sleeps there should be last to sleep and first to rise. There were way too many mosquitoes for us to even consider using the terrace. Looks great in the pictures but was unusable for our time.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. First of all, we would like to clarify that we regularly issue invoices for all payments, made by card or in cash. There is absolutely no intention to avoid taxes, and we are sorry if there was any misunderstanding regarding the cleaning fee communication prior to your arrival. Regarding the cleanliness of the dishes and glasses, had you informed us during your stay, we would have been more than happy to promptly check the issue and arrange for the cleaning company to return and properly rectify the situation. As for the dishwasher, please note that it is not listed among the apartment’s amenities, so we are surprised by the expectation of finding one available. We are glad you appreciated the location. The apartment is situated in one of the liveliest areas of the city, which is part of its charm; however, guests seeking peace and quiet might find it less suitable and may prefer a more residential neighborhood. Concerning the courtesy kit, we would like to remind you that this is a self-catering apartment. Therefore, only a basic initial set is provided, and no ongoing supply is included.

The apartment is on the ground floor in an extremely popular part of town. On Saturday night, it's absolutely filled with (mostly) young people from all over the world. Exciting, but overwhelming if you don't like crowds. The area is known for its restaurants, and the most popular (instagram) restaurants have long lines. The apartment is spacious and accommodating. It is not a five star for me because unfortunately there is a smell of mold that is covered up with air fresheners. It being on the ground floor, the mold makes sense, but to me, the air fresheners add toxic chemicals to the worrisome mold. I think it would be best to leave that out. The apartment was clean, but my aunt found a dirty towel on her bed. Another issue for me was check-in. The host requires cash for the cleaning fee and for the 6 euro/person/night fee the city of Rome charges. Not that big of a deal, but kind of a pain making sure we had the right amount of cash after a long day on the road. Lastly, there is no lockbox, so the coordinator has to meet you at the apartment to let you in. We were traveling by car that day and making stops. He insisted on an exact arrival time and when I couldn't give him one, he chose one for me. It was stressful to keep getting texts about timing, insisting that we immediately send copies of our passports, and reminders about the cash. He lacked flexibility and was super rushed when we did meet. For a restaurant rec he directed me to two instagram famous tourist traps.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’d like to clarify a few points to give better context for future guests. The apartment is located on the ground floor of a historic building, and during periods of heavy rain it can occasionally happen that some humidity spreads indoors. This is a common characteristic of many ancient buildings in Rome, especially at street level, and not something unusual for this type of property. Regarding the cash payments, these are clearly stated in the welcome email sent at the time of booking and are also reminded in the message requesting online payment for the reservation. For this reason, we are a bit surprised that this came as an inconvenience at arrival, as all the information is provided in advance. As for the check-in procedure, meeting our guests in person is one of the strengths of our Company. Since we manage more than 60 apartments across Rome, it is essential for us to know the arrival time and ensure it is respected. These are private apartments in residential buildings, not hotels with a 24-hour reception, and especially during high season our staff operates on a very tight schedule between check-ins. For this reason, if a fully flexible self check-in was preferred, this apartment may not have been the right choice for you from the beginning.

Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Pros: Strong shower water pressure, mostly consistent hot water, and good drainage. Gas stovetop. Convenient walking distance to restaurants and bars. Ground-floor access.Cons: Not close to public transportation or main train/bus stations. Sofa bed pillows smelled unwashed or absorbed odors—very unpleasant, with limited replacements available. There’s an easy-to-miss step between the dining and living areas due to identical flooring; it caused a fall (fortunately minor). This is a safety hazard that should be clearly marked. The single bedroom is narrow, and the walls shed white dust that gets on clothes and belongings.Listing mentioned a dryer, but only a hairdryer was provided. No drying rack or clothesline, and poor airflow made drying difficult without using heat/AC, creating a hot, humid environment.Best suited for 3 people max. The sofa bed is curved and uncomfortable for longer stays, and being in the living room means exposure to constant noise.Noise is a major issue. Sound carries easily within the apartment and from outside. Located in a busy nightlife area, weekdays are manageable, but weekends are extremely loud with crowds, shouting, and disturbances—making sleep difficult.Overall: Only recommend if you plan to be out late and don’t mind significant noise.

Thank you for your feedback — we appreciate it, even when some points are difficult to read.
We're glad you enjoyed the shower, hot water, and location. A few clarifications for future guests:
Public transport: the apartment is a 2–3 minute walk from multiple bus and tram lines. We're happy to share stops upon request, though we must admit some surprise — the bus stop is just steps away, in the main square.
Pillows: all are laundered and/or replaced regularly. With 8 pillows for 5 guests, availability is not an issue. We're confident in our standards and find this comment hard to reconcile with how the apartment was prepared.
The step: clearly visible in the listing photos and typical of historic Trastevere homes. The property is not listed as single-level. We regret the incident and hope no lasting harm was caused; as the step is documented in the photos, we are not in a position to assume liability.
Drying rack: provided on the private terrace exclusively for our guests.
Dryer: the listing description caused confusion due to a VRBO synchronization issue, which has since been clarified.
Noise: Trastevere is one of Rome's most vibrant neighborhoods — this is highlighted in our listing. We recommend it to guests who love the energy, and suggest quieter areas to those who prefer a peaceful stay.
We hope to welcome guests who fall in love with this corner of Rome as much as we have.
4.6 The place was clean, comfortable and the temperature was adjusted for the cold weather. There were enough extra blankets and towels for everyone (5 of us stayed there) and enough space so we did not feel as though we were on top of each other. The water heater did have an error message on the second day of our stay, but it was fixed within several hours and did not give us issues after that. Staff was friendly and responsive! One of the sofa beds in the living room did not convert back to a sofa, which made it into a bedroom. It wasn't too bad since we weren't really in the room and were walking around Rome most of the day. But, I could see where that might be an issue for someone who wants a formal living room area. We did not have a sheet pan to use in the oven nor a microwave, but the stovetop heated up leftovers fairly well. The washing machine was a bit loud, but it cleaned our clothes efficiently. There were plenty of hangers and a drying rack, but the weather did not heat up fast enough for our jeans and other heavy clothes to fully dry. Overall, I would recommend this place. The location is right in the middle of the Trastevere neighborhood and close enough to cross the river, and in walking distance to mostly all historic sights in Rome.

Thank you for your detailed review.
We’re glad to hear you found the apartment clean, comfortable, and spacious, and that our staff was friendly and responsive. We appreciate your understanding regarding the water heater issue and are happy it was resolved quickly.
Thank you as well for your constructive feedback about kitchen amenities — it’s very helpful as we continue to improve. We’re pleased you enjoyed the Trastevere location and were able to explore Rome easily on foot.
We hope to welcome you back in the future!
The apartment was spacious enough for our group of five and is perfectly situated in the heart of Trastevere. Because it is so centrally located, it is an ideal spot for those looking to enjoy the local scene, though it was perhaps a bit "too central" for us since we weren't looking to participate in the nightlife.Having access to a private was nice patio, especially in the early morning, although the mosquitoes did deter us from using it as much as we would have liked. The fast Wi-Fi was very convenient for our needs. While the bathrooms were small, that is to be expected in a charming property with historical roots. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed; the broiler, in particular, worked great for reheating pizza the next morning!

L'appartement était parfait et propre.
Très bien placé parmi tous ces restaurants
Merci!
