Set in the peaceful and picturesque surroundings of Coniston, Hollin Bank Barn offers a tranquil escape right in the heart of the Lake District. This beautiful three-bedroom detached cottage enjoys an elevated position, close to the popular Village of Coniston but only one mile away from the picturesque Tarn Hows. The cosy lounge offers a wood burning stove for those cooler evenings. An open plan kitchen/dining room has a door that opens onto this wonderful south facing garden. As well as the three double bedrooms, there is an upstairs bathroom, and downstairs shower room. The cottage has stunning views from the rear windows of the lounge and the garden across Coniston Water towards Coniston Old Man — a truly special backdrop for your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. There is a wonderful, enclosed garden at the rear and a wooded area to the side of the house, making this a lovely setting.

Walking opportunities are abundant — whether you’re tackling the summit of the Old Man of Coniston, exploring the scenic Tarn Hows, or enjoying gentler lakeside strolls along Coniston Water’s western shores. There are trails for every level, each offering stunning views and peaceful woodland settings. Mountain biking trails located in Grizedale Forest are only one mile away.
