Enjoy countryside walks directly from the property, followed by refreshments in Kilkhampton’s cosy village pubs (1.3 miles). You’ll also find a selection of cafes, tearooms, and a fish and chip shop with the village. In the evenings, sip a sundowner on the patio whilst listening to the birds in the trees and admiring the views across the valley.


The cottage is one of two beautifully converted barns and still retains many of its original features, including exposed trusses and stonework. The property has an open-plan layout comprising a lounge/kitchen/diner, with an impressive vaulted ceiling, underfloor heating, and far-reaching countryside views. Whip up tasty dinners for two in the sleek kitchen area, to share at the dining table, before sinking into the sumptuous sofa to watch the Smart TV. When it’s time for bed, retire to the elegant king-size bedroom which also has a Smart TV, as well as an en-suite bathroom. Outside, relax on the sun loungers in the enclosed patio and take in the tranquil views. There’s also a BBQ for enjoying al fresco meals under the stars.


Perfect for an evening drink or meal, visit the local pubs, The London Inn or The New Inn (1.3 miles). You’ll also find plenty to see and do in Bude. Spend the day on one of its sandy beaches, swim in the iconic tidal pool, set off on an exhilarating clifftop walk, learn to surf, or hire a rowing boat to majestically drift along the canal. The town also boasts a fabulous array of pubs, restaurants, and gift shops. Further afield, soak up the history at Tintagel Castle (23 miles), or enjoy picturesque walks through the National Trust land surrounding Boscastle (18.5 miles). You’ll also be 12.5 miles from Clovelly, the picture-postcard fishing village that clings to the North Devon cliffs.
