About this property
Gorgeous 3 bed cottage in idyllic setting on the edge of Exmoor.
Want to really get away from it all? Our beautiful farm cottage has 15 acres of woodland to walk and play in, with the river Bray winding through the valley it overlooks. Though only about 30 minutes from Woolacombe, Ilfracombe, Barnstaple or Lynton, with fabulous beaches and coastal walks, Ovis is hidden away with no sound or light pollution, so is perfect for star-gazing and bird watching, messing around on the river and camping in the meadow. We have recently refurbished in a cozy but elegant style, with some gorgeous antique furniture , deep sofas, super comfy beds and linen, Starlink Wi-Fi and a well equipped kitchen. Equipped for little ones, we have a highchair, a travel cot, and a nice range of toys and family games. Everything you need for a fun family holiday or a relaxing retreat. We hope you'll love it as much as we do!

We are Lucy and Richard November and have enjoyed holidays in Ovis cottage with our three children for the last 35 years - camping by the river, sledging down the hills and playing endless games of Monopoly. Now, Lucy enjoys walking on the SW coast path and Richard enjoys waiting for her in the pub! We have loved doing the refurbishment and hope you enjoy the peace and tranquility as much as we do.
