The house is in a wonderfully peaceful location, the pool is a dream, and the area offers plenty of things to do. The owners live in the front house and are extremely helpful and friendly. If anything wasn’t right, they were right there to help. As for the house’s amenities, it has everything you need. The only drawback, aside from this summer’s mosquito infestation, was that the house could perhaps use a deep cleaning and an inventory check of the kitchen supplies.

The apartment is just as nice as it looks on the website, and the pool is great. It’s the time of year—and therefore the temperature—that determines whether you’ll have a pleasant stay. For us, it was way too hot and humid inside, and don’t be misled by the term “air conditioning” in the description—it’s actually just a plastic-smelling climate control unit in the living room that can only lower the temperature by 6 degrees. The bedroom only has a fan, so with temperatures around 30 degrees, sleeping was very difficult for us northerners.
