Set in a quiet lane overlooking the parish church of South Creake, this property enjoys a peaceful rural location. A short drive will bring you to the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a protected landscape of marsh coastland. Together with a fascinating selection of nature and wildlife reserves, this area also offers an array of charming towns and villages including the likes of Wells-next-the-Sea, Stiffkey, Burnham Market and Thornham.
Inside, the cottage has been sympathetically modernised to offer cosy and comfortable accommodation with a timeless and traditional feel throughout. The bespoke kitchen features exposed ceiling beams, painted wooden units, marble worktops and a butler sink. This room is fitted with an electric oven and hob, fridge with small ice compartment, microwave and a small table, two chairs and a built-in bench, seating 4. The sitting room next door is cosy and welcoming, with leather furniture, an open fire, Freeview TV and DVD for enjoying relaxing evenings in. There is a bathroom on the ground floor with bath and electric shower. From the sitting room, steep, winding cottage style stairs (not suitable for very young or those with limited mobility), lead up to the first floor and the two charming bedrooms, each of which features slanted beamed ceilings and pretty cottage windows. There is a spacious landing bedroom with double bed and chest of drawers and a connecting twin bedroom with wrought iron beds located through a low height doorway.
Outside, there is a gravel area to the front of the cottage overlooking the church which catches the afternoon sun, perfect for al fresco dining. There is road parking nearby, but guests can unload cars outside the property.
