My 3 sisters and I enjoyed our 2 night stay. The 3 main bedrooms were comfortable per my sisters. The back 4th BR had a ceiling in need of repair and it was not the most comfy mattress, but still OK. The bathrooms and home in general, were very clean and consistent with the pictures. Overall the home had charm, the main gathering areas cozy with good amenities. The location, walkable to shops, beach and a few doors from a large antique indoor market and cafe, was exceptional. The agency that managed the listing, were friendly and responsive.
We had an amazing time during our girls weekend to Cape May. The house is clean and charming with a great location- walking distance to everything. 100 percent would recommend!

Girls getaway
Loved the location. House was charming. We left it cleaner than we found it though.
The home fit our needs for a weekend stay. My wife and I hosted our three sons and their wives. The house was clean and nice. It does need some cosmetic upgrades. It is an old house. Parking was an issue (4 cars). The shopping and beach were within walking distance. Restaurants were close by too.
First thing we noticed was how clean the property was, spotless. It has to be the most quaint stay I've ever had, Victorian from top to bottom. Loved it!
We only had two days at the beach and it looks like it could be the only time we get away this summer… so we made it memorable. The house was in a perfect location that we were able to walk everywhere. Plenty of room for all of us. It was a great trip and we hope to stay there again!
The beach box was VERY welcome addition to the rental package. Hopefully it will be available when we return next summer. It would be nice to have a dishwasher too.
We had a great time staying in this lovely home. Being steps away from our favorite coffee shop and the west end garage was fabulous. We enjoyed playing games in the cute yard and ate charcuterie in the kitchen. The house was more spacious than we were anticipating. If I had one complaint it would be that it was not stocked with toilet paper but other than that it was a great stay!
This was such a wonderful experience. The home was a true beach house with a great backyard. Nice size bedrooms
Everything was in walking distance. Beach. Park. Shopping. And tons of restaurants.
I would recommend it anyone
We were down for a long weekend. The location was very nice, being in walking/biking distance to shopping and the beach. The house is in good shape; the kitchen is small, and the floor is sloped and an inch or so lower than the adjacent dining room floor, making for a tripping hazard. The bathrooms are also small, but that is to be expected in an older home. It is one side of a 2 family house, but there were no noise/issues from the other side. Otherwise, the accommodations were as described, and we enjoyed our stay.

The house needs a major cleaning and some repair. The carpet going up the steps needs replacing, the bathroom mats also need replacing. The floors downstairs need mopping. There is a hole in the wall with blue tape going up the stairs and cracks in the ceiling. The rugs downstairs and the sofa and sofa pillows need cleaning. The house has an unusual sweet yet old smell. The house is an attached house or sometimes called a duplex... which wasn't indicated in the description.
The location is excellent, the size of the house was perfect for us, and the management company was easy to work with. For these reasons I’d consider staying here again, but the house needs some TLC. The ceiling is bowing in the back bedroom, the paint is peeling in the laundry closet (there’s clearly a moisture issue that they need to address), there are gashes in some of the walls they need to repair, etc. I knew it was an older victorian and didn’t expect brand new or modern, but the house just isn’t as well maintained as it should be. It’s a shame because it’s excellent in so many ways; if the owner would spend a bit to address these issues it’d be perfect.

Lacked some things
Property is "OK". Photos are misleading. For example, furniture is old and uncomfortable. Little things need done like front door lock does not always work easily, toilet handle needs replaced, several lights do not work. These small repairs should have been done before we took occupancy. Certainly should have been done for the cost of the rental.

We hope you enjoyed your stay! It must be noted that there were no prior complaints about any of these items so that’s why they were not addressed. The moment we found out the homeowner offered to correct but it was decided it could be done after your stay as not to be bothered. The locks have been replaced so there’s no problem with the lock now and light bulbs are replaced as well. We just learned of the toilet by this review so be assured it’ll be on the to do list.
This was a charming house for our small friend reunion. It was within walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping. It was quiet, despite being on a somewhat busy street. We enjoyed sitting in the backyard in the early evening. We would definitely rent there again.
Although we informed family to bring their own linens, they forgot. Had to borrow some from a friend in town. Awkward. Otherwise, it was very convenient for our purpose. Saw One Christmas Carol at Cape May Stage, fabulous!
Four of us, who had been friends since college, spent a long weekend in this cute rental. The location was ideal. An easy walk into town and the beach. We each had our own bedroom and 2 bathrooms to share. House was comfortable and clean. There was a lot to do and the weather was unseasonably warm! No complaints here.
Cute and quaint home. I thought I wouldn't like that it was on a main road but it was still quiet and serene. Easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shops.
We LOVED our stay! Everything about the house was perfect - comfort, cleanliness, decor, proximity to town, convenience, etc. It has it all. Better than we had hoped, thanks for many wonderful memories.
We had a very nice stay. We loved riding our bikes to the beach and the convenience of the beach box. The location was great, close to everything. The street was a little busy but parking was easy and it did not affect our stay. We’re planning to come back next year.
