The Space:

Duplex 3 is arranged across two floors and offers more space and separation than a typical city-centre apartment.



The main floor has a bright open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with comfortable seating, a Smart TV and a fully equipped kitchen for preparing breakfast, drinks or meals during your stay.



There are two comfortable king bedrooms and two bathrooms, including a striking copper roll-top bath. The living-room sofa opens into a spacious super-king sofa bed, allowing the apartment to accommodate up to six guests.



Original beams, exposed brickwork and carefully retained architectural details reflect the building’s history as a former chapel and warehouse. From the upper level, guests can also enjoy views across the surrounding rooftops towards York Minster.



Please note that the apartment is arranged over two floors and includes internal stairs. Some of the original beams upstairs are low, so taller guests should take care.



Guest Access:

Guests have private use of the entire apartment throughout their stay.



Access is self check-in using a secure entry code, which will be sent before arrival. The apartment is located within a shared communal building containing the other Preachers Yard apartments.



There is no allocated parking at the property, although guests can briefly stop nearby to unload luggage. Several paid car parks are available within approximately a 5 to 10-minute walk.



The Neighborhood:

Preachers Yard is located in central York, within easy walking distance of the city’s historic streets, restaurants, cafés, bars, shops and major attractions.



York Minster, The Shambles, the city walls and many of York’s most popular museums and landmarks can all be reached on foot. Despite the central location, the apartment offers a comfortable base away from the busiest shopping streets.



Getting Around:

Most of central York can be explored easily on foot from the apartment.



York railway station is approximately a 20-minute walk away, with taxis readily available. Paid public parking is available nearby, and guests arriving by car can briefly unload close to the building before moving their vehicle.



York’s pedestrianised centre and historic streets mean that walking is usually the easiest way to get around.



Other Things to Note:

The apartment sleeps up to six guests across two king bedrooms and a super-king sofa bed in the living room.



The sofa bed and linen must be requested as part of the booking so that the correct bedding can be prepared.



The apartment is arranged over two floors and includes stairs. Some original beams on the upper floor are low, so please take care.



There is no private or free parking at the property. Paid public parking is available nearby, and short stops for unloading are normally possible outside or close to the building.
