Open Floor Plan, Family Friendly, Waterview Home

Enjoy salt water views from the large front porch, second story living area, deck and the yard of this home on picturesque Great Island. Just 1 mile from Salty Brine Beach, 2 miles from Sand Hill Cove Beach and 3 miles from Scarborough Beach this completely renovated home is ideal for summer fun or quiet spring/fall weekends with the family.

There's plenty of room in our 1650 sq ft home for three couples or two entire families vacationing together. After a day at the beach let the kids run around in the yard on this quiet island yet you are less than a mile from some of the town's best seafood restaurants and the historic fishing port of Galilee where the Block Island Ferry departs.

This is our vacation home which we use regularly, not an investment property. Open floor plan with cathedral ceilings and "upside down" design to take advantage of the views. Meticulously maintained.

Summer rentals (mid-June to Labor Day) are Saturday to Saturday. Holiday weekends, including URI graduation require a three day rental.

Very nice neighborhood area and Very close to beaches and fishing wharf area. Fully stocked kitchen was a plus, clean and comfortable-Lots of hangout spaces. The kitchen and main hangout room is upstairs where the second bathroom is.

Beautiful property!

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, and comfortable rental, this is the place for you. The house is beautiful with the two outdoor decks, fantastic kitchen/living area (with everything you could need/want), and comfortable bedrooms. Everything was thoughtfully designed and the views are fantastic. Great location! We will be back!

House was spotless had everything you might need in the kitchen! Great setup with bedrooms downstairs and kitchen living room and dining all upstairs as one big room with a full bath! Views of the water and sun filled! I hope to rent this house again!

We had a lovely time at this beautiful clean home. The pictures don't do this home justice. It's beautiful, clean and in the perfect location for a relaxing getaway. Great Island Heaven

Beautiful updated home. Cool layout with plenty of room. Enjoyed the water views from the upper balcony but loved the extra wide porch with sliding screens. It let the breezes in but kept the unwanted flying guests out. Awesome location, close to three beaches; restaurants and the ferry to Block Island. Top of our list in terms of vacations spots after 33 years of traveling.

We are a family of seven with ages ranging from high school to adult. Throughout our lives we've always spent time near the water and need to get our water fix periodically.

Why they chose this property

Our home is located in a quiet residential area of Narragansett known as Great Island. There are no commercial properties of any kind on the island and nearly all the homes are within 100 yards of the water. As soon as you drive onto the island, with its winding roads and small rolling hills, you know you are on vacation.

What makes this property unique

We spent a long time looking for an 'upside down' house. You will enjoy views of the water from the open floor plan living room, dining area and kitchen on the second floor just steps from the second story deck and picnic table.
