Other than the bathtub having mud in it everything else was amazing. We had a great time and it was very relaxing. Felt like we had the whole park to ourselves. We wil definitely come back

Response from VrboOwner on 30 December 2025
We are so sorry. We had some maintenance done recently in the bathroom. I did not check it after they left.
We had a great stay in the “Let it Snow” cabin. Shane was a great host! We really enjoyed our stay here. It is close to the river and to all the places we wanted to visit. We look forward to coming back here again.
Very clean and beautiful little cabin. Perfect for us and our 2 children. River right outside the back of cabin - can play, swim and fish right there at the cabin!
The owner of the house was very communicative, kind, and responded back quickly. Check-in was easy, house was clean, and it was in a good location. We loved the hot tub that had a great view of the river! We didn’t know it was right on the river, so that was a bonus for us! I highly recommend staying here!
Aside from a few small maintenance issues, loose toilet and door lock, it was a cozy cabin with everything we needed. Adding a strainer or colander to the kitchen would be helpful.

Great Break-away
It was a cozy, CLEAN cabin, where everything worked & was kept up with. All the basics were there plus recommendations for places to go in the area & beyond! Loved the River behind the cabin & the field in front. Great area for our dog, too.
We wanted to celebrate a birthday with a lot of hiking and relaxing. The Linville Falls and Gorge were just minutes away, and the hot tub and cabin were cozy and welcoming. Shane was a responsive and meticulous host.
It was just right.
This is a cute little log cabin located right on the Linville River. The property is beautiful and very restful. We enjoyed being able to fish and relax right by the cabin. The location is phenomenal for getting to Linville, Newland, Linville Falls and of course the Blue Ridge parkway. We hopped on and off the parkway when going to Spruce Pine, Blowing Rock, Boone and Grandfather Mtn. A great stay. The host was very communicative and left a wonderful guide book for everything local. We will stay here again when we’re back this way.
The location was perfect for hiking in the mountains. The cabin is part of a group of cabins on a large 20 acre plot that is nicely maintained and very quiet. We enjoyed seeing and hearing the river directly behind the cabin. The cabin was clean with a few exceptions. The floor underneath the bed is dusty/dirty (our dog lost a ball and we went to retrieve it), and the ceiling fan in the bedroom was noisy. Owner communication was really great, ensuring understanding and policy for both of our benefits I'm sure. We recommend this place and will likely stay again in the future. Thank you Shane!!
The pics of the property on VRBO do not do it justice! The cabin is sooo cute! I loved it so much! It’s not as secluded or private as I thought but it was still very nice. For someone who is use to having neighbors it’s fine. I’m from the country and don’t have any neighbors so it was a cultural shock for me haha. The cabin was fairly clean. It does need a good dusting from top to bottom but that’s with any house. I was there to spend quality time with my husband, not really worried about the dust! Everything else was clean though! The hot tub was amazing! The view was amazing. The owner was super nice and even came by and met us! He was pleasant to work with from the beginning! I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone and I honestly can’t wait to go back.
I’m extremely happy with our stay at this property. Customer service is the number one reason. While, the location is absolutely beautiful, the quick response from the property manager to fix issues with our rental was beyond anything I’ve experienced before. Without question they moved us to another rental, gave us a free night and entry into a local park. Will definitely stay here again.
The cabin is cozy and clean with a well equipped kitchen. The hot tub was great after a full day on the trails. Being next to the river and hearing the water rushing by was nice and serene. Perfect for 2 people.
Everything was great. From check in to check out couldn't have been any better. Very clean, very welcoming. Exactly as it is described! We will definitely be back!
Great location for Linville activists, caverns, hiking the falls and winery. Communication was very good, nice neighbors and loved hot tub and view and access to the river.
Shane is absolutely amazing !! From the moment I booked the cabin until the day we left, he was nothing but helpful & kind. The cabin is absolutely beautiful & im so thankful to have gotten to get engaged by the beautiful river & all the snowy trees. & the hot tub is awesome overlooking it all. Will definitely be back again.
Husband and I just loved our stay here! The cabin is in a beautiful setting on immaculately maintained grounds right by the river and we just loved the sound of the river and seeing the fireflies at night, relaxing in the hot tub and grilling out. It was the perfect getaway from such an insane world. The owner could not have been nicer or more communicative when scheduling our trip. Located close to the Parkway and a short drive to so many attractions, we really were able to see and do so much in the time we were there. So glad we were able to bring our 18-year old chihuahua with us, too, as we won't have the opportunity for too many more of these trips with her so we are so appreciative for that. We'd love to come back and highly recommend to others! Thank you so much for having us.
