This is our second time staying here and will be our forever spot to go to. Great amenities, close to Trolley line, privacy, peaceful setting. We love it here and will continue staying here anytime we go to Gatlinburg.
Cozy cabin that is perfectly situated off of the main road through downtown Gatlinburg. Private and relaxing with an easy walk or hop onto the Trolley into town. Clean, conformable, easy check in and check out and great host.
We always enjoy our stay at Aspen House. Everything we needed was provided and clean as a pin. Very close to downtown, actually within walking distance. No fighting traffic. And the house is right on the Little Pigeon River.
Amazing cottage, with two nice bedrooms, a full kitchen, formal living room, glassed-in porch on the Little Pigeon River and strong wifi. Walking distance to all that Gatlinburg has to offer and very reasonably priced. Owner has strong communication, as well. A
The house is very comfortable. We spent a lot of time in the sun porch. The sound of the river was soothing. It was calm enough at one point for a swim. A bear walked by! Beds and rooms were very comfortable. The location was perfect for walking to attractions such as Anakeesta and restaurants. If you like fish, The Trout House is very good. The Owner was great at responding to questions.
The house is older but very well maintained and very clean! It was a great location with the Trolley stop right down the road. The back porch was a great place to sit near the river and relax.
The house was very clean and had a good location. It was a little further away from town then we had thought, but it does have a trolley stop very nearby. The house worked well for what we needed and the bed was comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. Thenk you for hosting us!
The house was very clean, comfortable, and felt like home. Loved the sun porch and outside area by the river. Bed was comfortable. It had everything you need. Nice quiet neighborhood just outside the main street of town. Very easy to walk to town. Would definitely go back.
The property was very clean and at a great location.
We really enjoyed our stay. Being able to walk to all the attractions we wanted to see in Gatlinburg and a short drive to Pigeon Forge with all it had to offer.
Because on the heavy rains we were unable to fish.
The location certainly had access for fishing on property.
This would be a must stay if we decide to return.
The posting doesn’t do it justice. She thought of everything! Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us. Amazing cabin on river! Comfortable beds, equipped kitchen, and fabulous sunroom!
This home and neighborhood surrounding it were clean and well kept. Kitchen and bath were spotless and fully equipped. Sunroom faced the river and was a beautiful place for several people to get together for card games or socializing. It rained much of the time we were there, so the covered parking was a big plus. Would definitely ask for this one again.
The location was wonderful! House was very clean and welcoming. Had supplies lots of other places don’t. The view from the sunroom of the river is amazing! Loved watching and listening to the water while drinking my coffee! Close enough to walk to Gatlinburg and not worry about traffic. Will definitely come again! My husband said the house was heaven. LOL
The place was amazing. The sun room was so relaxing especially hearing the creek running. The master bedroom bed, was so comfortable I didn’t want to leave it! We also saw bears twice! Once on the front porch! So do be mindful and don’t leave any trash out and only in the bear safe bins. It was so close into gatlingburgs town so that was very convenient and my overall stay was amazing. I didn’t want to leave!!!
I hate to leave a good review because more people will want to go there and I want to keep it as a secret just for me and my wife. The cabin was very clean and nicely setup. It isn't flashy, but very quaint and simple, kind of retro. We didn't need the bells and whistles. We were there to enjoy Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and what they have to offer. It was nice getting up in the morning and enjoying the stream right out back with easy access for fishing. And also to sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. I am sure it has been mentioned, but the easy and quick access to the trolleys for going in to the Gatlinburg strip is an awesome convenience. It was perfect for two couples. Thank you Ruth for a great stay. We will definitely be going back. Joe and Angela P.
We loved staying in this location. The cottage was very nice and it was a great location. It is situated on the Little Pigeon River with access steps which allowed my grandson to fish. We had a bear visit us a couple times, which was fun for my grandson. Plan on staying here again.
Very clean and relaxing! Lots of space and the whole house was just so cute! Definitely a long walk if looking for walkability. We still had to drive and park to be in the main gatlinburg strip.
Excellent communication with the host before we arrived alleviated travel concerns, and the location just on the western edge of the tourist area made walking to dinner and dessert really easy.Individuals in our family are on the smaller size, but larger people or people with some disabilities may have problems with the configuration of the bathrooms. To enter the primary bathroom, one has to open the door, side shuffle into the bathroom between the bathroom cabinet, and then close the door. It felt a little tight for me (5'9'' & 170 lbs). The only other con that I can think of is that directly opposite of the creek/river is a hotel with balconies that look out onto the backyard. It makes you feel a little like you are on a stage when enjoying the sunroom that overlooks the river. There is a window covering that you can use if this makes you feel a little uneasy, but then you lose the beautiful view.Overall, we had a delightful time during our stay. There were all of the cooking appliances you would expect with a good selection of pots, pans, utensils, and ice maker (especially helpful on those hot days). Beds were comfortable and our younger daughter was happy enough with the sofa bed.
