Heaven on earth!!

Beautiful home, awesome views, owner thought of every detail and answers any questions before you have to ask! It was very warm in the sun but very comfortable on the balcony and patio. Hope to go again!!

We have been coming to Grand Lake and staying at different places. This was by far the best! Communication with the host was top notch, the home was very clean and the deck was just amazing. Having the dock and boat launch so close was an additional bonus for us. We would love to rent this over and over!

Beautiful Lakeside Home!

This a Beautiful Lakeside home with a great Covered Dock. Excellent location in Grove, with a beautiful view of Honey Creek. Great location for fishing too. We caught white bass and large mouth bass right off the dock. The house is furnished well, very nice and clean! Paved roads and the boat ramp is very close to the house.Thank you for letting us stay here!

This was our Happy Place

This property was more then we hoped for, everything we needed was there and plenty of room! Fishing on the dock, pool and ping pong tournaments. Close to shopping. We are already planning a return trip! Highly recommend this for a great family vacation.

Perfect location and well equipped!

Our extended family of 11, all ages, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great lake view, perfect if you have a boat to tie up to dock. Kids enjoyed swimming and fishing from the dock. Overall great stay, good chance we’ll be back next year.

Our family lives in Edmond and fell in love with the Grand Lake life many years ago. My husband has been coming to Grand Lake since he was 14 yrs old when his family was invited to stay at a friends cabin and they bought a cabin the same weekend. 48 years later we get just as excited about going to the lake and still feel sad when we have to leave. We now have a son and he feels the same way. If you ask him where his favorite place to vacation, he would tell you Grand Lake! He would rather vacation at Grand Lake than anywhere else. My entire family has a saying "Grand Lake is our happy place". It is a place to recharge our batteries and relax. We feel very blessed that the previous owner of our lake house chose us to be care takers of what he referred to as his little slice of heaven. The uniqueness of our particular property is that it has a gentle slope down to the waters edge which allows us to roll our adult daughter's wheelchair down close to the water, which lets her participate with us. We are located on the outer edge of a cove but can see the main body of water. We hope that you come to know and love Grand Lake as much as we do and that we hope you find your little slice of heaven here also. We have a daughter that that is multi-handicapped and We don't get to come down as much as we would like, so we have decided to selectively rent our property and look forward to others to feel the same way and who knows maybe buy their first cabin on Grand Lake.

Why they chose this property

Our particular slice of heaven is within a half mile of Lendonwood Gardens, 3 miles from Wolf Creek Park which is the main venue for all fishing tournaments , city fairs, concerts, etc. We are within 2 miles of some of the best dining and shopping/antiquing that Grove has to offer. Even a couple miles from the hospital. We are within 3 miles of Harbor Village which is a free to the public tourist attraction. We are a short distance by water to Shangri-la and some of the best dining on the location that Grand Lake has to offer, not to mention the shore line in front of our house has some of the best fishing that Grand Lake has to offer. Even though we are 3 miles from town you still get the feeling you are getting away from it all to relax and recharge. And you can even get lucky and see deer in the neighborhood.

What makes this property unique

Our property is partial handicap accessible, with ramps to the back deck and almost the upper level has awesome views of the lake. It has a gentle slope and we are located on the outer edge of the cove with an unobstructed view of main body of the lake. You can enjoy sitting on the deck or dock watching your kids playing with all their water toys, fishing or watching the boats go by. When night time comes, if you are not roasting marshmallows with a bon fire, you can go inside and play a game of pool or ping pong or watch movies.
