Located on the North Shore of Maui, Hookipa Farm is nestled in a beautiful neighborhood just minutes away from Hookipa Beach Park. Enjoy fresh fruit, ocean views, and spacious living quarters after a day of adventures. This 3 bedroom is not to miss, situated on a unique small-scale working farm, with chickens, and a large variety of produce. Your host lives on-site in the owner's cottage and will be around to share her local knowledge whenever needed.
The house was built by the owners and is a large 3 bedroom with plenty of space for 3 couples or a family. (3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bath) Bedding options in the rooms are a king in the master bedroom, a queen in one of the guest bedrooms, and two twins in the final bedroom. The master bathroom has a spacious two-person shower and the guest bath has a tub shower combo, with a half bath in the living room.
There is a well-established kitchen and large living space with two additional 'recreation' rooms that can be used as reading spaces or an office. Set on 2 acres of land, there is plenty of outdoor space and we would be more than happy to show you around the farm and introduce you to the goats upon request. For evenings outdoors, there is a gas bbq provided on the deck. Spend time relaxing in the early evening with ocean views and a cool breeze.

Spacious Oasis on the North Shore
The property was just like the photos and even more spacious. The property is exceptionally equipped with everything you can imagine and more. The beds and linens are comfortable and new with plenty of pillows and extra linens. Lots of soft high quality towels both for the bath and for the beach along with beach chairs and the washer and dryer are great for returning from a day at the beach. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked some amazing meals while there. The view into the yard full of citrus trees is soothing, picking oranges for fresh orange juice, limes and fresh grapefruit from the trees is a wonderful addition to a holiday morning. The farms chickens are a nice greeting each morning with your coffee we named them all. The location is not far from Paia at all and the Haiku store is less than a couple miles up the road and is stocked with everything you need. The Makai location presents a number of storms rolling through the back yard from time to time but adds to the beauty as they never last long and always provide for a rainbow from the large covered deck. The beaches on the north shore are windy so we toured to the other side as well as enjoyed the beaches close by. What else can I say the property and how it is set up is exceptional and I would recommend anyone to stay and enjoy the ambience and privacy this property provides. We very much enjoyed our two week stay over Christmas in the spacious oasis.

Thank you so much Brain and co! It was so great to meet you and we hope that we will get to see you back on the farm soon! You were amazing guests.
Our stay on this small farm property was absolutely perfect for our family. Plenty of room to spread out and relax, a kitchen designed for making family meals together, and very comfortable sleeping. The farm was abundant with fresh fruit and funny chickens who followed us around. The goats were sweet and fun to observe from a distance. We would highly recommend this property for those looking for a quieter space for connecting with friends and family. Mahalo!
We had a lovely stay. The house is beautiful, with lots of space. There were tons of fresh fruit on the trees in the yard, so we made fresh juice every morning which was a great way to start the day. House is well stocked with what you need. The coffee maker wasn't working when we arrived, but Kanza was a great host and bought a new one the next day. She and Spencer were very friendly and helpful. Location is near the quaint little towns of Haiku and Paia, with lots of shops and restaurants.
My kids loved hanging out with the chickens... This became part of their morning and evening routine. We were warned about the roosters - which indeed did wake us up early (sometimes starting at 3:30am with a symphony). There are also lots of ants, thus this isn't the place for you if you aren't accepting of some nature.
Overall, the house was nice and clean. Only complaint is that the couch and patio cushions (indoors and outdoors) really need to be cleaned.
We actually enjoyed that there wasn't air conditioning and instead had the windows open all the time, which created a nice breeze together with the ceiling fans. Only challenge was that it got very humid and damp inside the house, due to daily small rain showers. Thus, our hanging clothes and the bed sheets felt damp most days.
We really enjoyed the peacefulness and spaciousness of this home.
The chickens and roosters were a bit noisy at all hours but fun to feed them! Take some earplugs!
This is not a bed and breakfast.
Stop for groceries in Paia before coming to the home.
We did find wonderful limes growing but no other fruits.
Lots of chickens but, no eggs.
The house was clean inside but the outside living area was in need of cleaning.
All in all it was a fun location away from the crowds.
We enjoyed staying at Kenza’s house! Incredibly spacious living/dining/kitchen area with the kitchen perfectly equipped. We appreciated the electric tea kettle! Condiments and basic things like flour, sugar, salt, tons of spices were all in the cabinets!
The house is on the north shore of Maui, away from the hustle and bustle of the resort areas but is a short drive to just about anywhere on the island.
Beds were comfortable. Windows didn’t have blackout curtains but after a couple of nights we got used it. There is no a/c in the house but for the most part, we didn’t miss it other than on a couple of days when the wind quieted down.
Closest beach is Honolua Bay which is about a 5 min drive away.
The fresh fruit and eggs on the farm were a pleasant and welcomed surprise.
Thank you for sharing your place, Kenya! I want to copy and paste your house into Oregon!!
Staying at Hookipa Farm was amazing. It was like being home, but better. It was beautiful and relaxing, and close to everything. My children will have life long memories and loved staying there...
This house is even better than on the photos. Everything is so perfect about this place. The garden is just gorgeous and the house is decorated with an amazing taste. Kanza thought of every little detail to make your stay fantastic. We also had delicious fresh eggs everyday directly from the chicken on the farm. Kanza is an amazing host, she is very easy to communicate with . I would recommend this place 100%. (One note: if you are very light sleepers, make sure you bring good earplugs as the roosters may crow all night sometimes!!!)
Great place to stay if you want to explore the island and come back to a restful and peaceful place. Very well equipped. Beautiful sunsets from the deck and ample space to relax. Lucky to be greeted by a few eggs and plenty of fruit that we were allowed to pick.
We had a wonderful stay at this spacious B&B. The neighborhood is quiet with great walking streets and easy access to Paia and upcountry. Owner Kanza was onsite and extremely helpful. What sets this place apart for me was the square footage of specious home, bedroom placement and large living room with glass sliders out to acreage with fruit trees. What a peaceful setting.
We loved our stay and appreciate how accommodating our hosts were. The house is beautiful and spacious and the farm vibe was charming. The area near Paia/Haigu is great; good surf, good food and generally low key. The restaurant recommendations in the house book were great. I highly recommend this property for any family or group of couples.
Thank you Kanza for opening up your lovely home to us.
We all had a wonderful time staying at your amazing house. The layout of the house with the master bedroom on one side of the house and the other two bedrooms on the other side gave plenty of privacy for six adults.
We always enjoy North Maui away from the highrise hotels/condos and especially the little unique town of Paia with all the great eateries.
The chickens kept us entertained and it was nice to have fresh eggs and also fresh squeezed orange juice from your many citrus trees.
We had a quiet deserving resite at Hookipa Farm and we hope to return next year.

Impeccably clean and well stocked house in a great location
The house is as it looks in the photos. Impeccably clean and well maintained, it has everything you need including beach towels, chairs, spices, books, puzzles, and a well stocked kitchen. Beds are very comfortable and have great linens. So many little touches that made our stay like staying in a five star resort.
We picked fresh mangoes from the trees and had fresh eggs every morning in a basket on our front porch laid by one of the chickens on property.
The house is in a great location if you are looking for more laid back Maui. It is about 45 minutes from the “tourist area” of Lahaina and Kaanapali. It is right near Ho’okipa and the town of Paia, a laid back beach town. It is in a quiet neighborhood, which was great coming home to. No crowds. We travelled to the beaches on the South shore like Kihea and Wailea when the winds were high on the North shore and they were only about 25 minutes. Whole Foods, a brand new huge Safeway and Walmart are about 20 minutes. A great natural foods market, Mana, in Paia, was only ten minutes. We made many trips to Mana!
There is no air conditioning but the breezes through the many windows were enough most nights, but there was a heat spell when we were there.
Kanza, the property owner, lives on property and was available and very responsive (even when i asked for gloves to gut a fresh fish!).
We had an incredibly enjoyable time and hope to return. I highly recommend this house.
We enjoyed our stay very much in this charming farm house. You can tell the owner cares very much about the property, and the quality of your stay. The chickens were also a huge hit!
Everything was great. The property was unique and the chickens provided daily entertainment, including leaving an egg or two each day on the front porch in the basket.
Sunsets were nice and some ocean views out the back.
The location was great...about 5 minutes to Momma's Fish House and 10 minutes to Paia. About 5 miles to the start of the Road to Hana, which was very convenient for us. We had no issues at all and had everything we need. Would stay there again.

Tolles Haus in traumhafter Umgebung

About the host
Hosted by Kanza Stott
Hey there! My name is Kanza and I am looking forward to meeting you. As a little background on myself, I grew up on Maui and after studying for several years in Australia, I have returned home and started to further establish my family's small scale farm here in Haiku. I love meeting new people, surfing and adventuring.
Why they chose this property
Haiku is one of the best areas on Maui. The north shore of Maui is renowned for its beautiful beaches and lush surroundings. Our farm is not only spacious but it allow allows you to have a glimpse at what is so special about this island. There is an abundance of fruit to share and lots of places nearby to explore.
What makes this property unique
Enjoy fresh fruits right off the trees and freshly laid eggs from our free range chickens! This quiet neighborhood location allows you to escape the tourist traps and immerse yourselves in a lush and tropical location that is still close to everything you need.
