The Caboose at C'Ville Cottage is the perfect home base for your visit to C'ville! Close to Everything. Quiet, comfortable and exceptionally clean

Comfortable beds, fast Wifi, Cable TV with Movies and Sports, a well equipped kitchen, a beautiful Penny Floor in the Bathroom, a Private Deck with a Swing for those relaxing moments - what more could you want? (If you can think of something, its likely here . . .)

C'Ville Cottage is a Duplex with Two Units on Premises. (See Knotty Pine). Located in a quiet, established residential neighborhood, you will find The Caboose a quiet and friendly place, but know that it is not suited for parties or boisterous behavior.

Easy walking distance to UVA, the Stadium for football games, to restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails on your private deck, watching the picturesque trains ambling by in the distance. The Caboose is perfect for a getaway or as a home base when in town for longer stays.

Unfortunately, we have not taken any steps to child proof this offering so this home is not suitable nor offered for families with small children.

Great location, close to everything, very cute place to stay

Loved the Caboose! Very cute, clean and has all the necessities. The deck is very relaxing and enjoyed the wild life. Beds were a bit firm but still comfy. The penny floor in the bathroom was super cool! The only thing as a need would be lighting on the sidewalk to see at night. Over all the caboose met our needs for a relaxing girls weekend.

We are friendly, active folks who are always busy on one thing or another. When we travel, we like to stay in nice places, but we also want them to be interesting. We enjoy artistic endeavors and have been involved in everything from producing films (Barry) and becoming a respected local Chef (Terre), to creating C'Ville Cottage as a very special temporary home designed for a travelers rest.

Why they chose this property

We moved to Charlottesville ourselves after retiring from our business pursuits. Why not choose somewhere special to live? And Charlottesville is just that - special. A small town feel with plenty to do and a generally higher standard of intellect. We chose to offer C'Ville cottage to travelers after we ourselves took an extended trip to Florida, and found a wonderful place to call home while we were there. Having such nice temporary lodging was very special for us which provided the motivation to offer such comforts to others.

C'Ville Cottage is a small home located in a friendly local neighborhood. The neighbors are welcoming, and consist of students, young families, renters, and those who have lived on the street for generations. Its location in the center of action in Charlottesville while retaining a quiet atmosphere, makes it the perfect place for a relaxing stay.
