This is our second stay at the unit and we LOVE it. The location is superb - close to the shops and A Bay. The beds are all very comfortable and so is the AC. Amy, the host, was very easy to communicate with. The unit is also close to the pool and that is such a perk. We would always choose to stay here when visiting.

Great location. Nice pool area. The Hilton pass was a big plus! Walkable to shops and restaurants, BUT: be aware that outside lighting on the street is non-existent after dark. The listing should mention the steep stairs and that the unit is on the second floor. Cleaning could be better… we had to wipe food crumbs out of the fridge and wash the coffee pot. We also did some scrubbing on the more suspicious carpet stains which came out nicely. The floor around the toilets should be addressed, as well as the bathroom vent which is clogged with dirt and lint. There was still dried toothpaste beside the bathroom sink. We reached down into the vent on the dryer and removed handfuls of packed lint which seems like a fire hazard. I purchased and left a couple of extra mugs so we wouldn’t have to wash dishes after every cup of coffee or tea, and we also purchased toilet paper which we didn’t mind doing. Lighting is a problem, especially over the dining room table and in the master bath where the vanity lighting is very dim. Another lamp in the living room area would be great also. Plan to bring your own blow dryer. One of them is about 3 inches long and overheated after about 10 seconds, and the other doesn’t blow hard enough to dry anything. This rental has so many things going for it. A little tlc would take it right over the top!
I just had to have a picture of the blow dryer. I thought it was a toy at first.

Wonderful Hawaiian Vacation!

We loved this property! The condo was clean, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and was in a great location! The Hilton pool pass was an added bonus that we enjoyed! We will definitely come back and stay here again when we visit the big island!

Excellent Home Base!

We had a great stay and will stay again in the future! The condo was great for our family of 3 with plenty of extra room. 4/5 cleanliness was only because carpet & countertops & outdoor grill are a bit outdated but as far as the hosts are concerned it was completely set up and ready upon our arrival with fresh linens, plenty of towels, extra clean sheets etc. The garage was a great feature as was the passes to Hilton pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Check in was a breeze and host was responsive and accomidating

Excellent!

Excellent stay! Amy was very easy to get ahold of, check in process was very smooth. Was able to extend a night because we loved it that much. Only thing to note is the stairs getting up to the room is steep and looking for a parking, it fills up very quick at night.

Beautiful Beach getaway

We loved this beautiful 3 bedroom condo. The condo has been nicely furnished making it warm and welcoming. The unit has a great view of the sun rising over the mountain. We loved using the Hilton pool pass that allowed us to snorkel in the Hilton lagoon, and use the pool. The pass also gave us free parking validation at the Hilton hotel. Loved being so close to the Lava Lava Beach Club and the Queens Market. We will definitely have to visit again soon.

We enjoyed the property and location. Only complaint is we had limited paper good. No paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper and three Tide pods. If guests are asked to do tidy up and wash linens those items should be provided. Overall nice.

Nice condo

Location is great! Great views of sunrise and sunset from loft. Rooms are nice size including loft area. Should mention there are 16 stairs at entry up to living area. Overall this is a great condo. Pool is very nice and the lanai looks out over it. Cleanliness could have been a little better the carpet is getting a little soiled and worn and furniture was a little dusty. Amy was quick to respond to our inquiries or concerns. Overall this is a nice place to stay close to shops and beaches.

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful and convenient place to stay. Place is as described. Everything we needed to feel like home. And central AC! The only thing that was a bit confusing was the TV/Cable but we eventually figured it out. Loved sitting out on the lanai in the mornings drinking coffee and watching the sunrise and listening to the birds. Walked across the street for shopping and eating out at The Queen and Kings shops. Nice view of the pool and jacuzzi right off the lanai. Soaked up some sun at Anaehoomalu beach and Hapuna beach both within a minute to a few minutes drive.away. Look forward to coming back!

Great location, could use a deep clean

The location and community are fabulous. I felt very safe there. Convenient to a nice shopping center with grocery store. You could walk to the beach, but it would be a hike. Appliances in kitchen appear to be brand new. There are plenty of bath towels and beach towels. Toys and boogie boards in the garage were nice to have. The pool is nice and right outside the condo - a 2 minute walk - and was never busy, so definitely better than a large resort. It would have been nice if more information would have been provided in the condo's information binder. Instead of a multi-page essay by Roosevelt (I believe), perhaps include nearby attractions, directions on getting to the beach, and location of the fitness room and other pool. In addition, we did not have a printed parking pass. I had one that I had received via email, but that was it. We ended up parking in the garage, as is required if you have only 1 vehicle, so it was fine, but would have been nice to have for the times when we knew we would only be ‘home’ for an hour or so and then would be heading back out. The listing currently indicates that the rooms have new mattresses, that would be great, but we definitely did not have new mattresses. Ours had very thick foam pads and the sheets did not fit the bed and came off each night. My biggest issue was the cleanliness of the unit. Nearly every dish I removed from the cabinet was dirty. The carpet needs to be replaced or thoroughly cleaned. There's a plant shelf above the family room (can be seen easily from the loft) and it is absolutely filthy. I don't think anyone has ever cleaned it along with the intake vent that is caked in dirt. The washing machine interior seal is mildewed and needs a replacement. Having a grill on the deck was nice but it smoked so bad, before we even added our hamburgers that the smoke detector inside went off a few times, even with the door closed and outside vent running. Perhaps it needs a good cleaning too. I think someone from management or the owner needs to live in this condo for a few days to discover the issues that can't be seen by simply walking around.

Family trip with 19 and 27 year old daughters in mid July 2025. The house was clean and in a perfect location. Check in process was smooth and we loved the living area so we could sit around at the end of the evening talking about our day. Communication with Amy was easy and she was quick to respond to our questions. We will be back for sure!

Comfortable and pleasant stay

We enjoyed our stay in Waikoloa Beach Villas, with our three children. The loft area functions as a third bedroom that two of our kids shared. The pool and hot tub area were nice, the entire property was well-maintained and quiet. This unit was relatively clean (we saw a couple of dead bugs but this is expected in Hawaii and to me indicates that they spray regularly). It was overall well-maintained and comfortable. Although we didn't end up using it ourselves, the Hilton pool pass is a cool extra perk. There were only a few issues that we encountered: 1. The garage door opener didn't work so it took us some time to figure out how to open the garage. The keypad also didn't work and none of the provided keys opened the back door of the garage. Eventually, we had to replace the batteries in the opener on the keychain with one that we happened to have in a headlamp. 2. There was some mold growing in the shower of the master bathroom. Again, this is normal for humid climates but I would think could be managed better in between guests. 3. The rug in the kitchen area seemed old/dirty and needed a good washing. 4. Minor issue, but the squeegees in the two showers were old and cracked and need to be replaced. Otherwise, this was a great stay and we would happily come back here again in the future.

Great complex and manager

We appreciated the manager, Amy. Who was very responsive. The unit is a little tired but this is understandable given the age and challenges getting trades for renos. The complex is very well run and conveniently located. Could use sharper knives, a few new pots and pans and new linens. Good service overcame many of these issues for us.

Roomy and comfy for a relaxing family trip

The condo was great! The two bedrooms were comfy and had plenty of room, and the extra loft bedroom was a pleasant surprise in how large it was. It gave the kids a place to hang out away from me and my wife. The lanai overlooked the pool, which made for a nice opportunity to grill steaks while kids went for a swim. Overall it was pretty well equipped, including rice cooker and coffee maker. (essentials for enjoying poke and Kona coffee!)The Hilton pool pass was fantastic for the kids. It’s just a short drive away from the property for access to a massive pool and lagoon complex. Highly recommend taking advantage, even if only for a couple hours…there’s even a dolphin show/experience! Just be ready to walk as the Hilton property is huge and the pool is on the far end. Finally, being across the street from Queen’s marketplace is super convenient. The poke at the grocery is great and there’s a decent amount of shopping available. The criticisms: the equipment in the garage wasn’t particularly useful and made it a little tough to park a minivan. The bikes had flat tires and a lot of the toys and beach stuff were just piled against the walls. Also, the laundry expectations were challenging given the 10am checkout time. Trying to wash three sets of bedsheets plus towels makes for a stressful and difficult checkout morning.

Overall stay was good except no Hilton pool passes

I booked the property back in November of 2024 for a stay in January of 2025. At that time the Hilton Pool Passes were advertised with the rental property. We were never informed of the change that the owner of the property DID NOT renew the Hilton pool passes for the 2025 year. I wasn't told about it until I sent them a message regarding where to find the passes. If I had known this ahead of time I would have looked at others listing that still included it. My family was pretty disappointed. But other than that, the stay was ok I guess.

Excellent unit in a prime Waikoloa beach location!

We've stayed in the Waikoloa Beach area many times, and this unit is situated very close to to the King's Shops and Queen's Marketplace. This makes shopping and dining very easy, a quick walk across the street. The unit was clean and spacious, with a good size lanai with a built-in BBQ grill. We would definitely stay here again!
