We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jack's place! Everything was exactly as expected and communication and check in was seamless. The location is fantastic with great walkability into Woodstock where there are several great restaurants and shops. Also 10-15 minutes away from several of the best hikes in the area which is an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Place was very clean and the owner was nice and responsive. The location is the best part about the condo as it is within walking distance to the downtown area with restaurants. And the A/Cs in the unit were appreciated for a warm summer weekend.

This is a comfortable home set in a quiet neighborhood with the bonus of a friendly (and dog-friendly) neighbor. I felt very safe at night or early in the morning walking by myself with the dog, which is not always the case in a strange area. The space was perfect for 3 women friends taking a “girls’ weekend” as there was a fully stocked kitchen, as advertised, and a lovely dining area where we ate and did some crafting. The smart TV enabled us to use our streaming accounts to share movies, and the remotes were well labeled so that we could use them easily. It was very, very, hot and only one bedroom had AC; however, there were good fans in the other rooms and we were comfortable leaving our doors open and the AC therefor reached the other rooms to some extent. The AC in the downstairs did a good job of cooling that whole space. Overall, this was a good place for a family or small group, easy to live in and very, very clean, including sheets and towels that were fresh and seemed new.

Good

It needs more air conditioning in the summer heat but that seems to be everywhere in Maine. The beds are comfortable. Overall good.

Great location

My friend and I hiked the Franconia Ridge Loop and this was a great place to stay! It was super convenient/short ride to the trailhead, close to town, and just a comfortable place to unwind after the hike. The only suggestion would be for more check out instructions. We weren’t sure what to do with the linens/towels.

Thank you for letting us know. We are a bit confused as to the comments. We have a handrail on the stairway and the condo is equipped with numerous kitchen utensils. The guest reached out to us the day before her scheduled departure to inform us that she had to leave a day early. She may have been disappointed that she was not offered a refund. Had we know prior to this we would of made every attempt to accommodate her.

6/10 Okay

It's dated and in real need of updating.

I will say it was clean and very conveniently located. Some downsides. The dryer was not working, which in the winter and taking advantage of the winter sports can be a little inconvenient. The cookware in the kitchen is in desperate need of updating - silicone pans that are peeling, and lack of adequate equipment. Another disappointment was the unavailability of the fireplace - a big sign on it stating not to use. The furniture in the living room is VERY dated and worn. Refresh the paint on the walls and some updates, and this could be a great place!

North Woodstock Fall 2022

Property was nice neat and clean. Kitchen had essential things we needed. Very conveniently located to nearby businesses and closer to loon mountain and Kangamagus scenic highway. Owner was responsive and prompt in answering queries. My wife expected hair dryer. I would give 5 star to this property. Will recommend this to other people.
