Welcome... Oasis is my lovely, spacious ground floor apartment with designated parking right outside the apartment front door, in a converted 1950s Pontiac dealership - right in the heart of Downtown.

HOA says maximum of four guests.

Oasis is fully decorated Urban style to bring out the best from the 12 foot ceilings and two huge cathedral windows. You will love having plenty of room in this lovely apartment. The open plan full kitchen and dining area makes staying here convenient and easy. One King bed and one Queen with luxury linens. Step into everything Wilmington has to offer; Riverfront Boardwalk, Historic District, Brooklyn Arts Center, Convention Center, Wilson Center, shops and restaurants all moments away, then come back into the quiet to recharge.

YOUR DESIGNATED PARKING SPACE IS RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOOR so you can experience City living without the stress of constantly trying to find a parking space or searching for coins for the meter.

Ready for a day at the Beach? Go up one block, turn left and stay on the same road until you see the sea- it's as easy as that and I leave beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and cooler.

Romantic getaway or convenient base for couples traveling together. Child at UNCW or CFCC? - perfect place when visiting or graduation. Attending the Wilmington Convention Center? - it is only 3 blocks away. Finish/start lines for downtown marathons are a easy walking distance.

Oasis is a quiet retreat in a residential neighborhood in the heart of Downtown Wilmington, therefore if you are looking to party, Oasis is NOT the right choice for your holiday. We no longer take bookings from groups of unrelated guests in their teens and early 20’s.

Sorry... No Pets, No Smoking, No Vaping - HOA restrictions. RATES: All quotes and bookings will apply 13% Room Occupancy Tax (State of NC and City of Wilmington payable on all Hotel or Vacation rentals).

2 Night Minimum. High demand weekends are a 3 night minimum.

Not suitable for children under 12. The HOA also doesn't allow pets at Pontiac Place. Thank you!

A hidden gem

Get away with daughter

Property was great and secluded yet near everything that Wilmington has to offer in the Riverwalk area. Host was great and even offered us some ideas for our trip. Could not recommend her or the property enough.

downtown comfort

very nice to stay downtown, park the car in the included private spot, and enjoy walking around. Some limitations with shops/restaurants due to COVID, but still enjoyed returning to Wilmington, a favorite locale in NC.

Perfect Spot in Wilmington

We had a great stay at the Pontiac Oasis. It was perfectly located in Wilmington’s downtown, close enough to the restaurants with an easy walk, but far enough that’s quiet. It’s a very cool space and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. The host was fantastic.

Birthday fun

Came to Wilmington to celebrate a birthday and visit friends who are residents. Perfect location to enjoy the historic district and also easy to come and go while visiting with our friends. Incidentally, we bought a car during this weekend and it was rather fun to be staying in a condo built in a former car dealership! The space was cool and cozy!!

Perfect Wedding Getaway!

My husband and I stayed at Oasis while visiting Wilmington for our destination wedding! It was the perfect place to come back and relax after dinner with family and guests, rehearsal, and long beach days. We loved being able to walk to downtown restaurants and still only being 10-15 minutes from Wrightsville beach. The amenities really made our stay! We had everything we needed all right there! Marilyn went above and beyond for us! We can't thank you enough for making our wedding so special! Thank you for having us!

Everything was perfect.. our host Marilyn was great.. she was always available and responded quickly to our questions.. the condo was well equipped in the kitchen.. the neighbors were kind and let us use their BBQ .. we were within walking to shopping, convenience store with all the essentials.. Nothing To (Cape) Fear Here, A True Oasis

Instructions and communication from Marilyn were helpful and clear and she was readily available when I had questions. The unit was spotless, well-appointed, and comfortable. The location could not be better... away from restaurant/bar noise but only a few minutes walk from everything (~6 min walk to Market Street). Would love to stay here again in the future!

Great Condo

My husband and I have stayed in many VRBO’s and Pontiac Oasis ranks right there at the top. We were in Wilmington for our niece’s wedding at the Brooklyn Arts Center. We were within walking distance to everything downtown. Lots of great restaurants nearby. This place was immaculate, bed was comfortable, and the kitchen stocked with everything you could possibly need. The owner, Marilyn, was superb. She was always available for any questions and checked in on us without being intrusive. A very enjoyable time. Thanks for everything.

My daughter and I enjoyed our weekend stay at the Oasis. It was very clean and had everything that we could possibly need during our stay. Wilmington Getaway long weekend

First, the condo/apartment (Oasis) was very clean and was equipped with everything you could possibly want .The condo was recently renovated and includes all new modern equipment. My wife noted that the host had equipped the condo with high quality and significant quantity of supplies to accommodate any requirements. I happened to incur a small cut during my stay and sure enough there were band-aids included in the bathroom amenities. This condo meet every expectation and more. Second:, Marilyn the host was 5 Star. She worked with us throughout our stay to assure everything went well. She worked with us to assist in an early check in and provided restaurant referrals. When we were not familiar with Apple TV, in the bedroom TV, and did not know how to use the remote she immediately assisted giving us her personal phone number and having her husband come and immediately assist. I felt very comfortable that my host , Marilyn, was available at all times to assure my stay went well. In summary, I hesitate to give such a good review as I'm concerned everyone will book up this property making it difficult me to return. But I definitely intend to return to this property and I recommend any one else to do the same.

Wonderful!

I stayed here with my mother as a mother and daughter get away. The property was exactly as described and shown on Vrbo. Not only do we feel extremely safe in the location, but the dedicated parking was so nice to have and was directly in front of the unit. The apartment was well appointed and comfortable. It was stylishly decorated, and Marilyn certainly made us feel welcome with a goodie basket and a personal note. We were easily able to walk downtown to all of the little shops and access the Riverwalk which is only about a block or 2 away. My mother went on and on about how great the place was. We can’t wait to come back! Thanks so much, Marilyn!

Vacationed with the Pontiac neighborhood!

You MUST stay here. This was our second time staying at Pontiac Oasis. You can’t beat the location — right downtown (on a quieter end) and easy access to roadways to the beaches! Having a designated parking space is so convenient. Marilyn is easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed ahead of time and followed-up during our stay. We were invited by some of the other tenants for a bonfire and it was great to hear about their experiences in Wilmington! Made us feel very welcomed and at home!

Very quaint space. Modern, stylish with great finishes. Comfortable beds and furniture down to the plush towels. Parking right at the door, very secure location. We enjoyed our weekend at the Pontiac Oasis. Rarely do you find a place that actually IS as nice as the photos. The place was clean, organized, and we especially loved the privacy blinds. Beds were super comfy, as well as the furniture in the living room. Marilyn is a great host- she is responsive and provides everything you need for a fantastic stay. We will definitely rebook when we visit Wilmington again.

A Must Stay Place

We absolutely loved staying at the Oasis! It is wonderfully decorated, and the location is fantastic. Shopping and restaurants are a short walk, and the parking lot is well lit in the evenings. We will definitely book with the Oasis for all our trips to Wilmington.

I was born and raised in the coastal Carolina's and have lived in the Wilmington area for over 25 years. One of my favorite things is dining out with my husband and enjoying a delicious glass of wine or a perfectly crafted cocktail at one of the many wonderful restaurants that downtown has to offer. My husband likes to say we eat out 8 nights a week :). Of course, we have our favorites and we love to share them with our guests.


Why they chose this property

I fell in love with Pontiac Oasis the first time I walked in! Pontiac Place was once a thriving Pontiac Dealership in the 1940's and 1950's. Unit O-Pontiac Oasis was once used as a service bay. Later the building was converted to 20 residential condominiums and has attracted an eclectic group of residents. Such a great urban feel in the perfect location in downtown and within walking distance to all of our favorite spots.

What makes this property unique

My husband and I purchased Pontiac Oasis in late 2018 as it had been successfully operated as a VRBO and Airbnb for the past 6 years. We updated it to a more industrial urban decor including new flooring, fresh paint and exposing/restored the natural brick hidden by decades of old paint. One of the most unique benefits would be the FREE parking space only steps from the entry door! Hard to find in Downtown Wilmington! Another special benefit is the natural lighting in my condo with the large front windows and the room darkening shutter in the master bedroom.
