Located in a rural setting approximately 8 miles away from Ricketts Glen state park; this fully remodeled cabin is ready to welcome you. Includes: , washer, dryer, offstreet parking for two cars or RV. 1 bedroom with queen size bed, with cedar closet, futon in living room, 1 bathroom with full size shower, heating/cooling with the touch of a button. Full size microwave and refrigerator
FREE WIFI.
Plates and silverware are available to use. Fresh sheets, towels, washcloths, toiletries, coffee, milk, and snacks, are provided.
There is a fire pit that can be used. There is an outside charcoal grill that can also be used, tenant is responsible to supply charcoal. Firewood is provided and can be used for $10 extra.
One pet may be brought and if so an additional $25 fee is charged when you book. The pet is not allowed on the bed/futon and must be on a leash when outside.

Stayed for one night during a long road trip. This was a great place and we wish we could spend more time. Spotless and well equipped with little thoughtful surprises. Very pleased even for a short stay.

Very clean and close to Rickets Glen. Very quiet . We enjoyed ourselves , had a great time and enjoyed the food in the area. . And loved we got to take our fur babies with us. Place could use a TV or at least a radio. And be warned about the place across the street. What a waste of a place that could be beautiful.

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean, cozy, and exactly as described — if not even better than the photos. Ben provided detailed information ahead of time, which made everything smooth and easy. He also thoughtfully prepared snacks, fruit, and beverages for us, which we truly appreciated.

The cabin was immaculately clean. The host provided breakfast food and snacks. A keurig coffee maker was provided and cups and tea bags as well as sugar packs. Soap and dish soap were provided. Towels and linens all very nice and clean. We had our small dog with us and plenty of space to walk. The town of Benton as not far and had a small grocery store that had all your needs. A washer and dryer were on site. The host was very easy to communicate with and responded immediately. This property was as advertised and better. My husband and I would recommend this cabin. The state parks are close by so lots of hiking is available. I would highly recommend the Ricketts Glenn Hotel for lunch or dinner.

This place was very clean and comfy and had a lot of nice touches that made it feel more like a home than your regular rental. (Like puzzles, plenty of bedding options, games and puzzles and free snacks and even bathroom spray!). I would highly recommend it for anyone who needs a home base for Rickett's Glen State Park and other activities. That being said, out of the owner's control, is the neighbor across the road that has many many porch lights on all night long with the brightness of the sun. There are shades in the windows so sleeping isn't an issue, but we went to see the meteor showers and our hopes of a dark sky were thwarted a bit. But again, not the owner's fault! Just a caveat :)
