We came for an experience at Gettysburg as well as antiques shopping. The house was a great location and offered plenty of space for our 4 adults and 1 child. Would definitely stay again.

All of the doors were unlocked when we arrived and there was a dead bird inside the house. If the doors hadn’t been unlocked we would not have been able to get in, because we saved the check in code that was emailed to use but it was not the correct code, and there wasn’t reception to check the vrbo messages with the host to find the changed passcode. Parts of the house were clean but the showers had pink film (bacteria) and some of the towels had stains on them. The dead bird is really what did it for us, I would not recommend staying here.

So confused you said you loved the house we had the cleaners leave at 3:30 you checked in at five they said they locked both doors but the back door prior to that while they were cleaning was left opened and I guess they didn’t see the bird. First time that’s ever happened. The film you saw on the one shower was the Cleaning scrub that the cleaning company used to disinfect and clean evidently they didn’t rinse it enough. You told me you enjoyed everything and it was great so confused.

Kari was a good host. Had a bit of learning curve to figure out heating and had a priod without electricity due to a fallen tree down the road, but overall great location. Hot tub was clutch. Kids had a great time indoors and on the slopes.

Perfect Retreat for Family Ski Trip

We had a wonderful stay. The house was 5 minutes from Liberty and had a spectacular view. The owner was very communicative and the house was absolutely perfect for a mountain retreat. We are hoping to stay again!

Ski Vacation

We love staying at this property when we go for a long ski weekend at Liberty. It’s located so close to the mountain and has amazing amenities. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Property

We highly recommend this property- This is the second time we have stayed here with friends. It's so close to Liberty Mountain so very convenient and the hosts are very responsive and helpful.

Loved the view off of the deck...just beautiful! Our girls enjoyed canoeing, swimming, and fishing (sunfish, bass & perch). The owner was very accommodating and quick to respond to our needs and questions. Location is close to Gettysburg (10-15 min) and there's a nearby grocery store for shopping. Excellent place to get away on a family vacation, especially if you love the beauty of the outdoors!
