We came for an experience at Gettysburg as well as antiques shopping. The house was a great location and offered plenty of space for our 4 adults and 1 child. Would definitely stay again.

Kari was a good host. Had a bit of learning curve to figure out heating and had a priod without electricity due to a fallen tree down the road, but overall great location. Hot tub was clutch. Kids had a great time indoors and on the slopes.

Gorgeous property. We had a wonderful stay. Clean, lots of amenities. The host was super easy to communicate and always returned messages timely. Our family wont forget the super relaxing time we had. We would love to come back in the future. All around amazing time!!

I want to leave an honest review because, had I known about these issues beforehand, I would have made a different decision.The property has great potential. The neighborhood was quiet and pretty, the home was nicely decorated, and the location was convenient to Gettysburg attractions and restaurants.Unfortunately, the condition of the home did not live up to the previous reviews or the price. It needs a deep cleaning. We found substantial dirt and debris, cobwebs, dead insects, a concerning stain on the bunk-bed comforter that appeared it could have been blood, ripped sheets in the queen bedroom, a stained master comforter, and a dirty, damp towel left hanging on the shower curtain. We cleaned surfaces ourselves, and the Clorox wipes became visibly dirty.The microwave also had to be unplugged for the door to open. The home does not have central AC and was 81 when we arrived at 4 p.m.; the window units and fans had not been turned on beforehand.We didn’t report the issues during our stay because our plans were full, and changing accommodations would have disrupted our trip and caused additional expense.Any one issue might have been overlooked, but together they were disappointing and overwhelming. I hope the owner addresses the cleaning and overall readiness of the property. I’m including photos to accurately show the conditions we encountered. Take care.

Perfect Retreat for Family Ski Trip

We had a wonderful stay. The house was 5 minutes from Liberty and had a spectacular view. The owner was very communicative and the house was absolutely perfect for a mountain retreat. We are hoping to stay again!

Loved the view off of the deck...just beautiful! Our girls enjoyed canoeing, swimming, and fishing (sunfish, bass & perch). The owner was very accommodating and quick to respond to our needs and questions. Location is close to Gettysburg (10-15 min) and there's a nearby grocery store for shopping. Excellent place to get away on a family vacation, especially if you love the beauty of the outdoors!

Ski Vacation

Wonderful Property
