About this property

A Charentaise house in the heart of Saintonge

Our house is located in a pretty village of Saintonge near Saintes, Rochefort, Royan and Oléron. La Rochelle is 45 minutes. Several restaurants and shops nearby.
At the gates of this town you will find, to your preference, Art and Culture, Nature and Countryside or beach and ocean.

We propose to remain some time in our mansion of the nineteenth, stone Charentaise renovated size in 2015-2016. We have kept its charm, the floors, the beams, the fireplaces ... while giving it a youthful look in terms of decoration and comfort.

Outside, the buildings, constuits the edge of a river, draw a court we have arranged with a dining room and a summer barbecue, summer kitchen, a terrace and loungers.

In our house, you have access to the library lounge on the terrace with sun beds, the garden and the summer lounge.
Moreover we make available free access to the spa on request.

Absolutely beautiful!

Olivier was an amazing host!! We had an amazing 2 night stay and it could not have been better. The house and the grounds are beautiful. Olivier made an amazing meal for us and was so accommodating as we had our pre-wedding photographs taken at the house. I would absolutely recommend to anyone coming to the area to stay here! We will definitely be back!

Une oasis de calme et de beauté

Merci encore à Olivier (et à sa maman) pour leur accueil dans cette très très belle propriété, décorée avec beaucoup de goût et dotée de tout le confort qu'on peut souhaiter. Olivier nous a accueilli très chaleureusement et a été d'une disponibilité et d'une gentillesse totales pendant le séjour, que ce soit pour répondre à nos questions sur la maison, nous donner de bonnes suggestions pour visiter la région, ou nous ouvrir le Jacuzzi quand les enfants le souhaitaient. Très agréable également, les placards de cuisine garnis des "essentiels" (et même plus) et les confitures maison à disposition. Le village est charmant. Un très bon moment en famille et entre amis pour nous ressourcer.
