Location of property was excellent. Fantastic view of lake and mountains and so serene. We were very comfortable there and had everything we needed. It’s one of those places you don’t want to leave!!
Great house and location. We had plenty of room for 6 adults. The best part…spectacular views!!! We watched the sunrise on kayak’s and canoe. Breathtaking!!Thanks for sharing your home.
House was amazing. It had everything we needed and more. It's a great location for a jumping point to hike all over. The family really enjoyed our time there!
We stayed at Brenda’s place for a family vacation to experience Olympic national park. This property was perfect for 6 adults (2 couples and two adult children). The property has a private beach with free kayaking which we took advantage of.
There were 6 of us ranging from 17 to 75 years old. We swam and kayaked in the beautiful calm waters of the lake. Life jackets were provided too. The view is amazing as advertised. The kitchen was stocked perfectly, even 2 sets of very nice silverware, with even cooking oils, spices and some coffee. Beds were comfortable and house was very clean. We hated to leave!
We LOVED this house (I never leave reviews, two kids… don’t judge). The views alone make this house unforgettable. The kayaks were a huge bonus and our entire group loved going out on the water. It’s so close to the rainforest and the largest spruce tree. I highly recommend traveling on the other side of the lake for dinner and gift shop options.
Wonderful house and very comfortable. We took advantage of the weather and the nice kayaks on the beach and paddled several times. This was a perfect location. We recommend the Salmon House for dinner across the lake.
This property was perfect for our family! Very easy access to the property and even better private access to the lake. We found it more than comfortable and would rent again.
Great comunication from the host. Beautiful and peaceful location.

About the host
Hosted by Brenda Sansom Obias
Owner/manager: Brenda Sansom My family moved to Lake Quinault for the love of the area in1975. I graduated from Lake Quinault High School, married and raised a family of three daughters who all graduated from Lake Quinault High School as well. Our love for this wonderful place generated from generations of both sides of the family who also lived, schooled and raised families here. With our love for nature, the great outdoors and wildlife, Lake Quinault has fulfilled all our activities and tranquility of our relaxation needs. I am fortunate to be able to share this spectacular vacation area of Lake Quinault and Olympic National Park with people from all over the world and provide comfortable clean accommodations to our visitors. My greatest joy is to continue to share this amazing place with my family and my five grandsons. They say that life is a dream at Lake Quinault!
Why they chose this property
We first purchased this home to have a place to access the lake and have a close to home vacation spot for ourselves. We soon realized that we needed to share this amazing spot on Lake Quinault to all who have a desire to visit God's country! Cottage Peaks is located in the Olympic National Park and a beautiful temperate rainforest with recorded world largest trees, fern beds, dripping moss, world largest variety of mushrooms as well as aboundance of wildlife. For such a beautiful place there are a minimum of accomodations for the amount of visitor in this area. I offer four seperate comfortable , clean homes for guests to stay and have a chance to really enjoy our area. It will be unforgetable!
What makes this property unique
