My wife and I spent 5 nights here and this property worked well for us. Clean and great location - short walk into town/restaurants and easy access to Acadia. Only minor issue that might affect some guests is lack a bedroom door. The kitchen is adjacent to the bedroom and noise travels easily. Otherwise a great spot for an Acadia visitor wanting to be close to Southwest Harbor.
The property was exactly as described and it was perfect for the two of us. It was exactly what we needed. The kitchen and sitting area was great and we loved playing chess and the other games when we had some down time.
This house was in the perfect location for us. It had everything we needed and more. The host was very responsive. The property is very clean and well maintained. Perfect!!!
Great 4 night stay. Good location far enough from Bar Harbor crowd, but close enough to get to everywhere. Plenty of good spots to eat around the immediate area - Little Crust Bakery, Beal’s Lobster, and Peter Trouts.
Super cute place, very clean and has everything we needed. It wasn’t as secluded as I had hoped from the pictures, but it was great nonetheless. Definitely a lovely place to stay, especially if visiting Acadia.
We had an incredible time at this cozy gem for our anniversary trip! The scenic drives through Acadia and the surrounding harbors were absolutely stunning, and we loved spending time in Bar Harbor—it was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. The atmosphere here was super relaxed and welcoming. The food and drinks were great, and the overall vibe was friendly and laid-back. While there are other residences on the property, we barely saw anyone else during our stay. Everyone was respectful, and it never felt crowded. If you're not after complete seclusion, don't let this concern you—it still feels very peaceful and private. One highlight was the Maine Blueberry Pie coffee from Katahdin Coffee Co. We picked up a bag at Pine Tree Market and couldn’t get enough of it! We even took some home in our carry-on. As a heads up, coffee (especially opened) gets double checked with TSA. When the coffee got pulled for a second scan, even the agent was commenting on how great it smelled! We wish we'd bought more.Overall, we had a fantastic stay and are already planning our next trip back. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a charming, relaxing getaway!
Very nice country style barn like (smell of the old wood) home that is perfect for a couple. Not very far from Acadia and bar harbor. We went in the fall and it was beautiful.
Wonderful and very well appointed “farmhouse” rental in southwest harbor . The owner was very informative of the area and quick to respond in communication . The king size bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed . I would happily return and recommend to my friends to stay there .
This place is as advertised. Well located, within walking distance of some excellent shops and restaurants. Good for two people- nothing fancy but clean and comfortable.

Charming farmhouse with own parking spot. Located near many hikes. Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor aren't too far. The farmhouse location is quiet with less hussle & bustle. Perfect place for two people.
Perfect spot on the quiet side! Everything was just right in the property, the bed was so comfortable and the 2 recliners were a welcome relief after a long day of hiking! Highly recommend!
The location was great for visiting Acadia all 3 days we hiked and we could come back to our rental to rest and there were several great restaurants nearby. Ingrid responded quickly to my question about the grill on the property.
