We really enjoyed our stay at this property! It was clean and cozy and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. It has a great location which is close to so many great places in San Antonio. We will definitely stay here again!
The property is lovely, feels like you're tucked away from the world - which is good since I was staying there while on evacuation from my overseas assignments due to COVID. Rebecca was very accommodating and ensured I had a comfortable desk chair since I was teleworking everyday.

Thank you Denise! It was a PLEASURE to host you in these though times!!! :)
It was like being at home, no more hotels! Ana was great checked on us to assure we were fine.
Ana set up a wonderful welcome with Quinceniara balloons and party decorations for my daughter as she walked in she was delighted to see after a long road trip. I would recommend this place to anyone Ana is a great host the house was clean big enough for all my family and guest. Felt like home heck with hotels going to do this in the future. Thank you Ana we had a great experience!!
The property itself was clean, well-stocked, and modern. No issues with anything not working or broken. The house has built-in security and a parking cover so that gave me piece of mind. Beds were comfortable and we were able to have a group of 7 people with plenty of space to move around. Price was great too - easy drive to downtown SA for stuff to do. Would stay here again.
This was a fabulous house and location for our vacation. Beds were all comfortable and bathrooms were very nice. We could
Have used a few more hand towels for kitchen and half bath. The only other small issue was not enough room for family to play board games or have breakfast together. The dining table was small and only sat 4 but other than that it was perfect. We would definitely recommend this house.
Quality Home within walking distance of a few San Antonio gems
This home was clean and brightly decorated with all the basic amenities needed to enjoy your stay in San Antonio. Although just with my sisters for our annual sisters weekend (without kids), the home is well suited for families too with all the basic details (crib mattress, high chair, fenced yard, and easy parking). The outdoor space is small but just what we needed to enjoy a sunny breakfast. The home is walkable to the Hayes St. Bridge, coffee, and a few great outdoor breweries/bars, and a short drive downtown for all the highlights.
The only complaint would be, there are train tracks close to the house so you can hear the trains as they go by. However, there are white noise machines in each bedroom which help a lot. Overall we had a great experience, the house was nice and clean, and the owner was great to answer any questions and help in anyway she could.

Thanks for the review! As the area becomes more "residential" I have hope they will silence the train as they have in other areas of the city. :)

Nice family friendly house.
Love the house, but questionable neighborhood, and train noise. Newer development in a run-down neighborhood. The house was exceptionally clean and organized. We felt safe there, but weren't able to walk to Riverwalk. Still after looking at booking a hotel room and paying for parking, this was the better deal.

All San Antonio downtown residential areas are undergoing renovations, therefore, my neighborhood is part of this wonderful transition. Staying downtown means being exposed to some level of urban noise such as trains, ambulances, buses, etc. Both the transitioning state of the neighborhood and the urban noises are noted in the description of our property.

Beautiful home and great comfortable stay
Came down to San Antonio for a basic military training graduation with 5 of us in the family. Each person was in awe of how clean this home was. Everyone was comfortable and had plenty of space. Could have had 3-4 more people stay here very comfortably. Owners were very accommodating and responsive. This is a great home and we will come back in a heart beat. Very close to everything we needed. From shopping to Lackland Air Force Base to downtown. The most we had to travel was 20-25 minutes. Great location.

It was OUR pleasure to host you. Thank you for all your great input! Hope to see you again! ;)
When we arrived late at night, we wondered about the neighborhood, it was perfectly fine and close to downtown, highway and the Pearl district. Home is well maintained and our three teenage boys enjoyed it. We cooked meals there as well as went out to eat during our Friday-Thursday spring break stay.
Owners reached out midweek to make sure all was good. The only real downside are the train whistles that happen in the night. After a couple days we got used to them, but they depending on which rail line, the light sleepers in the group were awakened by the trains.
We had 3 business travelers and the home worked perfectly. Good communication and easy access. Thanks and would stay again for sure.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Great home, false advertising
PROS
-Home is very well-appointed, especially in the kitchen. Feels newly built or recently renovated with all of the comforts of home. The home is part of a complex, and it's a quiet little community.
-Beautifully decorated, including local San Antonio touches and Halloween decorations.
-Door code is the last 4 of your phone number, so you can't forget it! Loved having the alarm, too.
-Beds were high quality. We slept so well! Plenty of towels and blankets.
-Kid friendly with the high chair, white noise machines, outlet covers and crib- even an extra baby blanket. The closet in the master bedroom could easily be used as a nursery because there is an air vent in there!
CONS
1.) Perhaps the most upsetting con was an unexpected "extra guest" fee of $40. The listing states "Sleeps 8" and we brought 7 guests. I attempted to resolve this with the host, but was told that since the home only has 6 beds, our 7th guest prompted the fee for "extra cleaning and linens." We only slept in the 6 provided beds, and did not use the air mattress or the sheets for it, so the fee seems unwarranted. This was not advertised on the property listing, so I wasn't aware of it until I was in the booking process. Since we had settled on this lovely property in collaboration with another family, it was too late to start the home search over again.
2.) The upstairs shower is clogged. When taking a shower, we were ankle-deep in our own dirty water.
3.) The AC being on a fixed schedule didn't work for us. Our toddler coughed all night both nights because the upstairs bedrooms weren't cool enough.
4.) The check in and check out procedures were not clear. I had to message the host to request check in procedures the day prior, even though the listing states they would be sent automatically. When we received them, the information was cut and pasted multiple times, but bits of information were included and other info left out of different versions. I had to read through all 4 copies to make sure I hadn't missed anything. Check out directions were also unclear. In one set of directions, it said 10 am, and in another, it said 11.
OVERALL
If the host would change the description to "Sleeps 6" and add a disclaimer in the description regarding the additional fee for 7 or 8 guests, I would love to stay here again. However, since the host refuses to accurately list the home, as a fellow STR owner myself, I can't support those types of business practices. It's a shame, really.
Really enjoyed staying here. Close to San Antonio attractions. New and very clean. The owner provides ample amount of quality amenities. I definitely recommend this place.
Visiting with Family and celebrating my Mamma’s Birthday! 🥳
Beautiful home, located minutes away from the Riverwalk, restaurants and other lively venues to entertain all ages. The home is in a well kept community with very nice neighbors. The owner Mrs. Malagamba was a true pleasure to work with! She was always available for questions and her communications very timely. Made the whole process an easy and seamless one! 😃👍🏼. Looking forward to coming back to the house soon.

My passions in life are traveling and finding antiques and vintage items. I love to learn about different cultures, get to know people from other places and learn about their views in life, their beliefs and experience their food. I collect antiques and vintage items, and I am always in the lookout to find them since I own an Antique/Retro Store.
