Welcome to Athens Cottage! Just minutes from downtown Athens and the University of Georgia and within walking distance of Normaltown's food and bars, our 1910 cottage provides a quiet respite during your stay in the Classic City and a uniquely Athens space! Features include saved historic elements like original heart pine floors, large windows that allow natural light to spill into the bedrooms and living spaces and beautiful 13' ceilings as well as ample outdoor space! We'd love to host you!

Robert is a high school history teacher and Cali is a lecturer/associate director of entrepreneurship at UGA. We call Athens, GA home along with our daughters, Mary Calvert and Adela June, and our rescue mutt Olive, and cat, Gatsby. What makes this property unique
Athens, GA or "The Classic City" is a vibrant community with something for everyone to enjoy! With close ties to the University of Georgia, Athens probably best known for its college town feel, big football Saturdays and downtown bar and restaurant scene. That said, the constant flow of creative minds through the city has also had it's impact on music and the arts. Many well known musicians and artists call Athens their home.
Aside from the downtown attractions are the unique neighborhoods of Normaltown (where The Athens Cottage is located!), Boulevard and Five Points, all of which boast good food, historic homes and their own sources of fun!
Normaltown itself features Bishop Park (a short walk from the cottage...), which hosts the Athens Farmer's Market on Saturday's in season, has tennis courts, children's playground and athletic fields.
