The location and accommodations were perfect. The full size kitchen has all the supplies needed, the VRBO was super clean and the host was easy to contact and very helpful!! Would definitely stay again.
We had the best time during our stay. The property was so clean and cozy, and the property manager was so amazing and accommodating. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to go back!
Besides hitting downtown Asheville, our two primary objectives were New Belgium Brewery and The Grey Eagle Music Hall. Both were easily walkable from our VRBO. The VRBO itself was very good, met our needs perfectly. Great communication with owner/property manager made check-in and check out a breeze. Would definitely stay here again.
Provided almost everything it said it would - only downside is that the location was not quite as walkable as I would have hoped, and the WiFi worked very poorly (so if this is a remote working situation, you shouldnt rely on it)
Location was easy to get in and out of and it was on a lesser traveled road compared to other parts of the city. Everything was clean and I have nothing to complain about. Close enough to walk to downtown but far enough away you won’t have people constantly nearby.
My wife and I stayed a couple nights while in Asheville after leaving Cherokee. The black balm room exceeded our expectations. We were actually on a mini trip to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. I mentioned that in the notes to the owner and low and behold, there was wine, cake and a couple commemorative 20 year glasses to drink from waiting on us. I had no idea about that and thought that was very kind and thoughtful for them to do that. We really enjoyed the stay there and the quick walk to new Belgium brewing was nice. Only about a 7-8 min Uber ride to downtown as well. Would highly recommend and we will stay there again as well!
The room was very clean. No issues with parking and everything went well. The only thing I think should be different is that an elevator would have been nice. Not sure if I missed that there was not one available in the details, but being on the third floor with a bad knee was not easy. But the stay and the room was great.
Came for my wife's birthday and spent 2 nights here. The condo we stayed in is updated, open and very clean with all the amenities you'd want or need. We wanted a place that was a bit outside of main/downtown area and this is across from the New Belgium Brewery just on the border of West Asheville. Perfect to explore downtown and come back to relax. Others mention a sort of "humming" noise during the day/night but we really weren't there during the day and I think there was occasional humming, but it didn't bother us and they do have a white noise machine in the room if needed. It was a great weekend and love also going into West Asheville for food - different vibe than downtown and we liked that as well.
Immaculately clean, safe and quiet. Perfect for a couple. Full kitchen with coffee maker was great. 5 minute walk to the riverside path next to the French Broad River, 10 minute walk to the river arts district, 2 minute crawl home from New Belgium Brewery Liquid Center.
This was our first time staying at this new property. All the property staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. The new unit was clean with all we needed for our stay. We used the kitchen area to prepare a meals and all the cookware necessary to cook was available. Persons easily bothered or have trouble sleeping due to noise you may take this into consideration. We were in a 3rd floor unit and there was a pulsing, hum of a motor that we could hear periodically. Also due to the beautiful glass front to the unit, road noise can be heard. This did not negatively impact our stay but just a factor to consider. Nice location to both downtown and West Asheville. Love the easy access to the bike path and New Belgium.

Convenient, Modern, but with a cost
The location is convenient to downtown, Biltmore, and to the French Broad.
However, the building faces the delivery zone of New Belgium Brewing Co. This equates to trucks picking up and delivering at all times of the day and night. This created a lot of low frequency noises that resulted in the building vibrating, disrupted sleep, and eventually headaches.
Otherwise the property would be an ideal place to stay in Asheville
Born from the belief that visitors to our vibrant city should be able to seamlessly "Stay Local, Play Local", River Row Flats in the River Arts District features modern, eco-friendly accommodations with easy access to the city's amazing restaurants, breweries, entertainment and outdoor adventures, many within walking distance. We are located about 5 minutes from downtown and 10 minutes from the Biltmore House entrance. It is a 15 minute drive to the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway for great hiking trails and lookouts. The Greenway across the bridge is great for biking, jogging, or going to all of the unique shops in the RAD. Street noise can be heard but is typically not an issue with most guests.
