About this property

The "Round House" provides modern country living with easy city access!

We are working with a cleaner who uses CDC recommended cleaners and guidelines and they are taking their time to ensure the house is ready for the next guest. If you have any further questions about our cleaning policy, please don't hesitate to reach out.


This contemporary rondette home provides spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, easy access to dining, hiking and beautiful scenic drives.

Last year, we had the exterior of the house redone and now we have finally had a chance to update the interior to match! Welcome to the new, contemporary Round House!

We use Blueland cleaning products and hand soaps to help reduce waste!

Large, new, open kitchen with all of the amenities with a light and airy feel that allows for ease of conversation while cooking, eating or just watching TV.

Queen sized beds in both the primary and guest bedrooms with an en suite bathroom in the primary. Private deck off of the guest room. Office desk and chair in the primary bedroom.

If you're looking for cozy, you may want the downstairs suite and have the whole lower level to yourself. The futon folds out to a comfy full sized bed with your own television, bathroom and outside access.

Linens, towels, toiletries and plenty of extra pillows to go around!

Speaking of around, step out onto the nearly 360 degree deck, pour yourself a drink and relax with just the sounds of nature, nearby horses and the wild turkeys, chickens and goats.

High speed WiFi for instant streaming from a Samsung Smart TV upstairs or the Amazon Fire Stick or BluRay player downstairs. (****THERE IS NO CABLE TELEVISION****)

There are also TVs in both bedrooms with Amazon Fire Sticks.

In keeping with the circular theme, be sure to check out the unique spiral staircase that adds even more charm and distinctive style to an already fun house. (Please note these stairs in the pictures if you are concerned with footing or tight spaces.)

Hair dryers in each bathroom, iron, ironing board, washer/dryer, dishwasher, gas grill and central air.

Pets welcome upon approval.

Fire pit with LL Bean composite chairs.

Two composite rocking chairs in which to sit while sipping your morning coffee and watching the sun rise from the deck!

When we visit the home, it feels like just that: home. We hope you feel it, too!

Nice weekend in Asheville

Nice updates, very spacious and close to downtown Asheville. Very quiet so it was a great relaxing time for us. The host, Stephen, was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!!

Round and Really Nice

The round house was great with an abundance of detail and provisions. It is tucked away for privacy but an easy 10 minutes to the heart of Asheville! Highly recommended!

Excellent Place to Stay in Asheville

Round House was as described in listing on VRBO. We really enjoyed our stay. Place is clean, kitchen is well stocked. Beds are very comfortable and bathrooms are nice as well. Nice deck overlooking the yard. Very close to downtown Asheville yet very peaceful and quiet. We would stay here again if in the area.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

We had a great long weekend in Asheville. This house is so cool and is decorated incredibly well. The host is very responsive. We were in a great location, had a beautiful view of the fall foliage, and were able to relax and feel right at home here.

The Round house is the way to go!!

The round house is a quiet Cozy place. Very accommodating for the six of us. We were able to enjoy nature, with the wild turkey’s, horses and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets, Would love to stay here again when we are in the area.

Lovely little house surrounded by nature

Stayed here for two nights with a few friends and we all wish we could have stayed longer. Very cozy house with an impressive array of kitchen appliances. Loved watching the local birds and animals. An amazing place if you're looking for peace and quiet with a short drive into town.

Lovely location. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Inside staircase steep for this old lady. There was a ramp area to be able to load vehicle without carrying luggage down stairs…very helpful! Would stay there again.

Friends celebrating 40th

The house is in a wonderful location just outside the city. We loved waking up to the sounds of nature but being less than 15 mins away from downtown Asheville. The house is cozy, clean and comfortable.

COZY ROUND HOUSE

Property is great tucked away in wooded, hillside neighborhood. There are homes nearby, but you have all the privacy you need. Round house is very well kept and recently upgraded, 2 gas fireplaces, incredibly good WiFi & big smart tv’s & kitchen with anything you need. Owner is excellent!

Great stay

We stayed in the round house for three days and it was wonderful. Close to many hikes and close to Asheville. The kitchen is stocked with condiments and pots and pans, plates and mugs. Every drawer is labeled, making the kitchen easy to use. Would highly recommend the property for a quiet sojourn.

Relaxing stay in Asheville

We had a very nice and relaxing stay at the round house! The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the linens and towels were soft and high quality. The layout worked perfectly for our group with the extra living space downstairs. The kitchen was very well equipped with beautiful dishes and mugs and pots and pans and everything we needed. We enjoyed the gorgeous sunrises over the mountains and watching the turkey and deer. We took advantage of the jigsaw puzzle collection and finished several during our visit. The WiFi was fast and I was able to work remotely with ease from the big desk in the master bedroom. Communicating with the host was very easy and all of our questions and concerns were addressed quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Peaceful Getaway

We loved this gem of a home. Peaceful, comfortable, exactly as described. Lots of space. Comfortable beds. Feels like a home rather than a cookie-cutter place you often end up with. House was well appointed. Really enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings with my cup of tea, listening to the birds and enjoying the view. We will be back!

Why they chose this property

Our grandfather had this house built in 1987 for he and his wife after retiring from being a veterinarian. Our family used to come together at this house for the holidays and special occasions.

You’ll notice an eclectic mix of décor in the house. This is due to our dad’s love for his fishing, airplanes and motorcycles coupled with our parents’ love for finding the beauty in almost everything. There are still hints of our grandparents throughout the house and knick-knacks and pictures that remind us of how truly amazing the generations were before us.

What makes this property unique

The house itself is nestled off of a private road providing you with all the anonymity you could want while still being just 15 minutes away from amazing downtown Asheville.
