Can’t say enough good things about this property. Excellent location, super clean, very comfy beds, great views, easy access, just wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for a week in the pines, loved it.
My wife and I stayed for a week. The home was quiet, very clean and very welcoming. The owners have recently updated a lovely wrap-around deck... one night, neighbors walking by even complimented us on the deck. Sitting out on the deck gave us a great view of Grass Valley and the Sierra's around GV.
The managers were helpful and prompt in responding to questions.
Adorable place with great amenities for longer stay!
This was a beautiful, open layout house with an super responsive host perfect for our 3 month stay. The owners stay in the house part of the year which means they've left all the things you'd want - well stocked kitchen, super comfy beds and bedding, board games, throw blankets, gas BBQ, storage and dresser space, black out curtains, etc.
Bedrooms are spacious, with room for us to set up our crib for the baby. Porch was beautiful, overlooking the neighborhood. It was an easy 10 minute walk into downtown Grass Valley with plenty to do. We also loved all the nearby trails within 10-30 minutes of the house - easy to find on alltrail.com. Post office is just down the street, and it was easy to rent a mailbox since the house didn't have that available when we stayed.
Bonus! The gas fireplace works even without a electricity (only happened once during our stay because of fire prevention in the area). We hope to return again, and would definitely recommend this place!
Didn't want to leave! The photos don't do it justice. It's an almost wrap-around deck, with the cutest bungalow on stilts that sits just far back enough from the road and surrounding neighbors for the yard to feel private and house, with all its patio doors and windows, to feel bright and airy. Nestled in a quiet little hidden part of the Grass Valley community, you probably would otherwise never even have come across, it has an out of town feel and yet is just a quick 5 minute walk into town, 10 minutes back up the hill (for me at least!). This is really just the ideal spot! Gorgeous touches like the artwork throughout the house, the lovely flowering pink tree outside the huge patio window that I wake to every morning, the granite kitchen counter-tops and every appliance you could wish for. The hosts were gracious and attentive to our needs. It's been so relaxing sitting out on the sunny deck sipping tea, looking at the flowering magnolia, listening to the sounds of the birds chirping and watching the squirrels run up and down the pine trees. There's everything here you need to cook in or you can run down the street and grab sushi or a burrito or pizza and froyo. Go shopping or to the river or just come here to work in peace. The internet is top notch and lots of streaming capabilities on the flat screen TV's. And for those with more old fashioned taste - a fully stocked games cupboard as well of course! Every room is impeccably done, with touches of beautiful Mexican antiques and Lovely hardwood floors. Everything here is just so easy! We could have stayed forever! Oh we're really going to miss it here! Thank you guys for making this a truly wonderful place to stay! Lucy
The property is close to town and very nicely appointed! We would stay again!
