Confort pas Ă  la hauteur du prix et certaines informations inexactes

Le lac n’est pas Ă  500m de la maison mais Ă  1,1 km et la plage Ă  1,3 km, or nous avions choisi cette rĂ©sidence en fonction de ce critĂšre. ProximitĂ© immĂ©diate d'une rue assez bruyante et source de tapages nocturnes. Pour 5 adultes la maison est relativement fonctionnelle. Les 10 couchages annoncĂ©s y sont mais les piĂšces du rez-de-chaussĂ©e dĂ©jĂ  limites pour 5 personnes auraient Ă©tĂ© trop petites pour 10 personnes. A l’étage, 2 des chambres sont trĂšs petites et extrĂȘmement chaudes. Les 2 salles de douche refaites rĂ©cemment avec douches Ă  l’italienne sont trĂšs agrĂ©ables. Le reste de la maison est meublĂ© avec des meubles anciens peu pratiques pour un sĂ©jour de vacances : armoires et commodes anciennes qui sentent l’humiditĂ©, manque d’étagĂšres et de patĂšres. Le dĂ©rouleur de papier toilettes Ă©tait Ă  demi arrachĂ©. Maison sombre avec une forte odeur d’humiditĂ©. Impossible de se garer dans l’entrĂ©e du jardin protĂ©gĂ©e par un portail cadenassĂ©. En gĂ©nĂ©ral il est possible de stationner devant la maison sur un petit parking mais souvent occupĂ© par des camping-cars ce qui oblige Ă  se garer plus loin sur le bas-cĂŽtĂ© de la rue. Une panne de la box internet qui nous a privĂ© d’internet pendant une journĂ©e et de tĂ©lĂ©vision pendant 3 jours - un grand merci Ă  StĂ©phanie qui a fait le maximum pour rĂ©soudre ce pb. Le barbecue en mauvais Ă©tat ne donne vraiment pas envie de l’utiliser. Le mĂ©nage est compris dans le prix et nous avons effectivement trouvĂ© la maison trĂšs propre Ă  notre arrivĂ©e.

Une jolie maison mais


C’est une jolie maison de bord de Lac, ancienne mais agrĂ©able avec un joli jardin. La maison est trĂšs bien situĂ©e, 10m de la piste cyclable, proche centre de Saint Jorioz pour faire le marchĂ© / les courses (boulangerie proche, super marchĂ© aussi), et proche du lac (17 minutes Ă  pieds). C’est un endroit assez calme. Les chambres et les salles de bain sont bien agencĂ©es et les lits confortables. La salle de sĂ©jour avec TV est composĂ© de plusieurs canapĂ©s, la salle Ă  manger est Ă  cĂŽtĂ© avec une table et quelques chaises et la cuisine peu fonctionnelle car pas de plan de travail. Elle reste bien Ă©quipĂ©e (four, gaziniere, micro-onde, grand frigo
) Mais
 Pour moi, cette maison n’est pas adaptĂ©e pour 10 personnes. Certes, il y a 10 couchages mais ensuite c’est trop petit, la salle a manger est trop petite pour manger ensemble. De plus, l’état de la maison laisse un peu Ă  dĂ©sirer : des chaises qui s’effondrent, plusieurs choses sont cassĂ©s, le barbecue Ă©tait dans un Ă©tat pitoyable, le salon de jardin aussi
 Enfin, propretĂ© Ă  revoir, beaucoup de fourmis, les oreillers Ă©taient sales, les alaises aussi. Heureusement, vous pouvez compter sur StĂ©phanie, qui gĂšre la conciergerie pour trouver des solutions avec beaucoup de rĂ©activitĂ©. En rĂ©sumĂ©, c’est dĂ©jĂ  trĂšs bien mais cela pourrait ĂȘtre encore mieux (et propre).

Super location

A characterful house with a good big garden and a super location a short walk to the lovely beach at St Jorioz and also close to a practical town with useful services. Lovely to sit on the small balcony outside the kitchen window while someone else is cooking. This kitchen is small - as shown on the site - but worked out fine for our party of 10 as long as everyone is not in the kitchen at once. We enjoyed evening meals outside in the garden around the big table. Be aware, one single bedroom is effectively a corridor to two other bedrooms so be prepared for that. Three of the double bedrooms are very lovely and spacious while the other three are small but functional. We had not known about St Jorioz but of all the places around Lake Annecy that is where we would stay again as it was so convenient for bus and cyling to other places in the area as well as the local facilities and the ease of an early morning trip to the beach each day.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison. Nous étions 3 couples et enfants. La maison est bien adaptée pour cette configuration (les chambres des enfants communiquent entre elles). L'environnement est trÚs calme. La table de la salle à manger est un peu petite pour 10. Sinon tout était parfait.

Séjour trÚs agréable dans un environnement calme - proximité lac trÚs appréciée - petit jardin apprécié pour tte la famille - seul bémol dans cet hébergement : odeur de renfermé, mais on s'en accommode pour un week-end aprÚs avoir aéré la maison.

Maison idéale pour une famille

C’est une maison ancienne avec un charme particulier et un jardin trĂšs apprĂ©ciĂ© par les enfants. L’environnement est calme. Bien chargĂ©s, nous nous rendions Ă  la plage en voiture plutĂŽt qu’à pied (environ 1,2 km). Une trĂšs bonne surprise !

Fine week in large old St Jorioz

Seven of us slept comfortably despite heat in the upper 30s. Balconies and creaky floorboards added to the charm. Modern showers and dishwasher kept things tidy. We watched bats in the large back garden at night. There was a lack of hand towels, but overall, great.
