Designer home with spectacular see-through entrance to living room, pool, and 4th hole of Mission Inn golf course (rated No. 2 in the State of Florida). Inside and outside dining area available at the home. Home is located 25 minutes from Mount Dora which is great for shopping, dining & beautiful lake views. This area has multiple hiking trails and is close to the lake for nice walks and taking in nature.

This property is equipped with a ring doorbell at the front entrance facing the driveway. This home is also equipped with two Hawk HD cameras with one located at the corner of the house & garage facing the driveway & one on the back corner of the home facing the pool pump & equipment. All cameras will be on.

Howey-in-the-Hills Heaven

This stay was perfect for our wedding weekend. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The surrounding area had so much to offer as well. The neighborhood is pleasant and provides a great place for a morning walk. We'd stay here again.

Parents and sons golf trip

Great location for playing and watching golf at the Mission Inn resort. Space is very comfortable and pool is wonderful after a warm day on the course. Great communication from the host.

NOT A PREMIER HOST OR UNCOMFORTABLE FURNISHINGS

PROPERTY IS MANAGED AND OWNED by a poor host who is inexperienced AND INHOSPITABLE. and who really doesn’t seem to like leasing her property. she removed all the comfortable furnishings (they were covered up in the garage) and had the place furnished with very uncomfortable indoor outdoor furniture wicker porch type furniture. the house was also lacking in utensils to cook with no ladle or spoon. there were some unsanitary porous wooden utensils. we scooped soup with a measuring cup. she wanted to charge us for “late check” but it just has a ring doorbell /lock self check in set up. so i don’t see how she was put out by that and how could i help it if my flight landed at 8:30 pm. i could go on but enough is enough. professional management is needed along with investment in comfortable furniture and decent cookware and utensils. the property is also listed twice in the website with differing fees. strongly recommend the condo overlooking the 5th tee if it’s available or the hotel. i could go on but won’t bother.

The owner really enjoys having respectful guests at our home. This guest had no regard for us, the neighbors, our home nor our cleaning staff. Late checkout does affect our time, the cleaning staff, etc. It is noted in the house rules before booking that guest will be charged for late checkout (unless communication with host), but this guest felt entitled to stay however long they wanted. We also have multiple pictures of our furniture available before booking, but seems like nothing would be to this guests standards. There are multiple drawers full of cooking utensils to include the ones you indicate we are lacking (just like cleaning supplies we have two cabinets full of). But instead, you are trying to find things to blame us for due to your lack of regard…just like the burnt pot, trash left in & around the home, & dirty dishes. Common respect & courtesy is lacking by this traveler. We incurred additional expenses for extra cleaning, late checkout, time of cleaning staff awaiting guest departure, & damage during this guest stay. I could also go on & on & could include multiple pictures. However, we would not recommend or welcome them back.

Really enjoyed our stay!

I can’t say enough about how much our stay in this home enhanced our experience in Howe-in-the-Hills. The property manager was very responsive in the booking and questions along the way. The home was spacious, clean, nicely appointed and convenient to Mission Inn, where we spent our days watching our son in a college golf tournament. We spent our down time by the pool. Really appreciated the opportunity to stay here. Thank you!

Peaceful

We were so grateful for the peaceful nature of the property. We sat on the covered and screened patio for hours each day! The pool was soothing and the water feature was too. The house was everything and more than I expected!! Beautiful, comfortable, very clean, and lovely! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. It was very memorable.
