Beautiful cabin, very clean and well maintained. Everything we could’ve possibly needed was there for our use. We had no issues at all, there’s a welcome book that answers all the questions you might have. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!
We had a small family reunion with 11 members. The house was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space to spread out. Great hot tub and firepit. The kitchen was very well stocked with spices, small appliances, and pots and pans. Great communication from the host. Thanks for a great stay.
We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin offered a lot of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy time together or alone. The hot tub was an added bonus! Thank you for hosting us!
Our host was very responsive with all questions and queries. The welcome book had so much information and detail at anytime we were able to reference many of our questions. Construction next door, tree removal with chipper noise interfered with enjoying the outdoors for a whole day.
Check in was super easy, received a message prior to check in time with all the information. The house is beautiful with plenty of room and the area is great!
This was an enjoyable stay. The log home is exquisite. The location and scenery was magnificent. The whole process was easy and allowed us to focus on family and friends.
Our stay was great. The house is conveniently located so it is easy to hit any of the lakes or head into town. We had a couple of issues with appliances when we arrived and Hydi was super responsive. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
So much to do in the area! We enjoyed the fire pit, whirlpool, downstairs fun area. Within 10 min of grand lake “downtown”. Lakes surrounded by mountains are beautiful.
My husband and I came up with 3 other couples for the weekend and loved our stay! They house was so amazing with lots of space for everyone! We went ice fishing on the Lake and everything was so close to the house. Would definitely recommend this property and can’t wait to go back!
This is our second time renting the property, and it is our absolute favorite. Hydi is so easy to work with and is more than accommodating! Thank your for letting us experience your home for a second time, Hydi!!!!
Thank you for the wonderful stay. The home is surrounded by pure beauty. The views were phenomenal and the night sky was breathtaking. My husband and I enjoyed running down to the lake in the morning. The kids also enjoyed the outdoors, making s’mores, and playing board games. We rented a boat nearby and explored Grand Lake. Great place to get away to.
Had to battle the winter storm to get to Grand Lake, but Hydi was very supportive and flexible to work with us. Nice house, well stocked and laid out. 6 comfortable bedrooms with 4 baths. Three bedrooms downstairs with bar, huge table and couch. Ground floor had kitchen, master and living room. Upstairs had two more bedrooms and bath. Overall great stay and experience.

My family had a wonderful time and enjoyed the area very much!
It is a beautiful house, one of the nicest ones in the neighborhood. Other homes were neglected, with derelict cars, appliances in the drive and so many fishing boats and RV’s that had been left there for awhile unused. You saw a little of everything walking the neighborhood.
The downstairs bedrooms (3), 2 of them have no natural light. The window opened into a shaft that was covered, and one room had no screen. Only 1 of the 3 had a floor fan. It was very warm while we were there and the occupants of those rooms did not sleep well because they were too warm with no air circulation.
When we arrived, the front porch was covered in pine needles and dirt. I swept it off so we would not track inside. I did not have to sweep it again the rest of the week. The window sills, especially in the bay window areas were so dirty. Dirt, dust, dead bugs, 33+, in the primary bedroom on main floor bay window sill. The bathrooms, kitchen and floors were clean but other surfaces were dirty. The coffee pot was not clean. I did reach out to Hydi and she said that the house is deep cleaned every 4 weeks, and basically only surfaced cleaned between guests. Hydi did offer to refund my money if I didn’t want to stay there, I had family coming in from both coasts, where was I to go at that point? I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the house and did spend over an hour cleaning all surfaces not cleaned by the cleaning crew.

I’m sorry you found so many things unsatisfactory.
I honestly have no idea what you’re talking about in regards to neighbors with unsightly yards. All of the homes in our neighborhood are clean and very well kept.
The “shafts” in the 2 lower bedrooms are called egress windows, and mandatory by fire law.
This is a cabin in the mountains, and pine needles on the ground/front steps are the norm - as are insects. I did have to reach out to you when our security system sent alarms that doors had been left open (hence allowing dust and bugs inside).
I apologize if you didn’t feel it was as clean as it should’ve been, and I did pass your complaints on to our cleaning crew. However, they have been with us for over 3 years, and we have never had an issue before.
We spent Thanksgiving at Hydi’s place and it was the perfect size and layout. There were 9 adults and a couple kids and the huge table and multiple living areas were wonderful. Hydi was very responsive when we had a question.
BIG beautiful mountain home - that accommodated five couples perfectly. We pulled up to a winter wonderland. There was no reason to leave! We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and massive bar/table in the basement, where we all gathered to eat. It was wonderful to have a huge sectional that sat everyone comfortably - enjoying a fire in the fireplace. Our only disappointment is we wish we had one more day.
This house was perfect for our family! We had 12 adults and one child and so we needed space for everyone and the bar downstairs made for the perfect dining table for all of us to sit at together. The view was amazing and we loved getting to see the mule deer every morning. We had a great time and loved not being super far from town.
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The home had everything guests need for their stay, and more! We had three families meet in CO. There was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable and spread out. Alternatively, there was plenty of room if we wanted to enjoy a meal together or play games. Close to town, hiking, and the lake. We truly enjoyed our time there.

We recently purchased this cabin for our vacation home, and have always loved heading to the mountains year round.
Since we are unable to spend as much time at the cabin as we would like, we have decided to share it!
