*After each booking, the home will be STRICTLY cleaned, including ozone purification, once tenants check out. For additional protection, we have installed a MedifyAir H13 whole-home medical-grade air purification system. This system cleans the air in the entire home four times per hour.

*Electric vehicles are welcome, and 50amp service is available for a small nightly fee.

Our neck of the woods is a warm and cozy modern rustic cabin located in a quiet neighborhood nestled in the woods. Our home is minutes from Cedar Point Park and the Pentwater River State Game area, where you can enjoy hiking trails and the surrounding wildlife and nature. We have access to Lake Michigan within a short walk/drive, < 10 minutes from Silver Lake Sand Dunes, < 15 minutes from Small Town Pentwater, and 45 minutes from Luddington State Park Beach. The surrounding area provides gorgeous lighthouse views, amazing Lake Michigan sunsets, and excellent hart-Montague biking trails, which also serve as snowmobile trails in the winter, canoeing, and fishing, not to mention wineries galore. You can do as much and as little as you'd like.

This is a STRICT SMOKE AND PET-FREE property that comfortably supports a maximum of 9 guests. There are also OUTDOOR ONLY security cameras.
The home features two bedrooms with one queen and one bunk bed with a full/twin combination and a loft/bedroom with two full-size beds and one large double shower. Kitchen dining provides seating for 8. There are large viewing windows that provide natural light. Games, toys, and books for the kids/adults provide a family-friendly atmosphere. The living area is cozy with an electric fireplace, a 65" TV, a home theater system, and a satellite TV. The loft also has seating areas throughout, in addition to a yoga corner.

In the summers, spring, and fall, you can enjoy all nature has to offer on the large wraparound porch and Weber grill with propane included. There are many wildlife views. Enjoy evening bonfires.

Amenities:
There is a Full Washer, dryer, full kitchen, central heat/Air, and osmosis with a water-softened whole-house filtration system for great-tasting water supplied to the refrigerator and sink faucet. Free Spectrum high-speed internet is provided.

This is a newly built property with all fresh furnishings to enjoy.

We had a great time staying in “Our Neck of the Woods!” The house was perfect for our family! The beds were really comfortable, the shower is amazing. Wonderful weather and VERY CLEAN and beautiful “Our Neck of the Woods ” property set the tone for an excellent vacation. We had such a great time staying at this cottage. It is beautifully decorated and completely updated with everything we could've possibly needed. Its on a very quiet road and so close to a beautiful beach that is just a minute down the road. We had such a good time and will definitely be back.

We are an adventure seeking fun family!! We would love for you to enjoy our home during the wonderful summer and winter months in the silver lake area!!! We went out on a limb after coming up north from Illinois the past few years and decided to get a family vacation home to cherish all the memories... We thought it would be a great idea to share this with others.

Why they chose this property

Our property was built in 2019 with state of the art materials. It's literally in like new condition. We painstakingly put in months of work to get the home to the level it currently is in. Every little detail was reviewed to ensure people that stay here, including ourselves need nothing else to have a great time!!! Our family has vacationed in the Mears/Western Michigan area for several years. If this is your first stay to the area, I will venture to say that it will likely not be your last. Mears is in close proximity to all sorts of activities including biking, boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, beaches, beautiful Lake Michigan sunsets, small town shopping, great restaurants, snowmobiling, hunting, ice fishing-you name it. The people from the area are warm and friendly. There are plenty of Wineries to choose from in addition to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes which are just a hop, skip, and a jump away. You can also enjoy ATV/off-roading, and did I mention the views of Lake Michigan? It is our love for the area that has brought us to routinely vacation here.

We strive to offer a truly unique vacation home experience with one of the cleanest properties in the area. ALL amenities are included to make you feel at home including, high speed Internet, roughly .75 acres of land with a generous size deck and patio. A huge outdoor block fire pit is provided for those cool nights to sit around and share stories with the family. Love the water? Take a 5 minute walk and you'll have direct access to over 800' of Lake Michigan shoreline with all its beauty!!
