About the host
Hosted by St Clair McColl

Saint and Janet have owned this property since they could pitch a tent and camp on it.Janet is a teacher and Saint is a floatplane pilot. They have 3 sons, now grown men. They came as a family from Saltspring and would spend every weekend and holiday showing their kids the wild pacific. In the summer the family would spend many summer days, playing in the surf, fishing and exploring the Pacific Rim National Park. In 94 they started to build with local builder Westisle Construction and architect Bob Cunliffe. 2.5 years later they had more than they dreamed of. Simply put, they had to share this paradise with the rest of the world. They could see how the place energized them and wanted to share the experience. As you will experience for yourself Chahayis is difficult to leave, for that same reason Saint and Janet dream of retiring here someday.
