Rustic Beach House 1/2 a block from Silver Strand Beach in Ventura County, a World Class Surfing spot during Fall & Winter months. Welcome to our special home and escape to a little slice of paradise. Steps away from Silver Strand Beach and to The Channel Islands Harbor Jetty, enjoy this small beach town. Relax and watch the fishing boats & sail boats come in & out of the harbor and view incredible sunsets every night over Anacapa & Santa Cruz Islands.

Welcome to our special beach house and thank you for treating it like your own home. The house is in a great location and is completely enclosed by a wooded fence with private gate & garage entrances. Once inside our private gate, there are two nice sitting areas, BBQ and two outdoor showers. Beach Towels, beach chairs, 2 paddle boards, boogie boards, buckets/shovels and bikes are all available in the garage for your use. The front door opens into a huge common area great for family meals. Each of the 3 bedrooms and loft all open into this unique, welcoming, open space. One bathroom upstairs and one bathroom downstairs.

Great beach bungalow house for our family. Loved short walk to beach & corner store. So many amenities in the house, from bathroom toiletries, to beach/water supplies, Netflix, coffee, and fans. Great communication with host. Would love to stay again if we are ever in California.

We absolutely loved our trip to Oxnard/Ventura. The location of this house is fabulous. The area is super chill and not crowded. The house was great. Adorable beach house, tons of character, stocked to brim with everything you need for the beach. We loved the house is very open and decorated lovely, the beds were comfortable and our little girls just loved the warm outdoor shower. We would stay here again.

A short getaway to the beach.

When we arrived at this property everyone was so surprised with all the extras the house offered. There were snacks set out for us along with a nice note. In addition we had access to bikes, boogie boards, sand toys, towels, surf boards, spices in the kitchen, coffee, the list goes on. All we had to do is basically arrive and everything was there for us. It's only a half a block from the beach and an easy walk. I was here on this trip with my husband, sister, her husband and our kids(ranging in age from 5-13). We loved the loft as it offered a space for the kids to hang out and there was plenty of room for all of us. The home was very clean and you can tell a lot of TLC goes into keeping it spotless. The owners got back to me very quickly with any questions we had and went above and beyond to make this a great stay. I'd not only recommend this as great place to stay I'm hopeful I'll be able to return with my family again!

Perfect Location and Well Outfitted House

This was the perfect house for our stay. Owner's outfitted this house very well with everything from laundry detergent to wet suits and sunblock. Great communication too. We will definitely rent again.

Nautical retreat ✨️

Our family enjoyed a week stay at this Beach house steps away from Silver Strand Beach. We had many fun family memories from sand castles, playing board games and reading books about sailing the oceans like Channel Islands in the book selection! Neighbors are also super friendly and nice. We really enjoyed the location, nothing is better than the beach close and also the corner store had everything we needed to save us from driving into town. We seriously will rent again!

Great Beach house!

Jeannie and Ivo's Beach house was the perfect setup for us. It was so well appointed with everything you would want for a great time at the beach being 4 houses from the sand. The communication and instructions provided were perfect. The harbor is right around the corner for paddle boarding around the Harbor! The outdoor shower and back patio with BBQ was great... Thanks for a great stay!

Silver Strand Cousins week

We rented six houses scattered across our childhood beach - Eight cousins with spouses & tens kids- we had a fabulous reunion. My house felt the most like our childhood; nautical, a little rustic but homey and authentic. The youngest generation ordered pizza and played games at our house one evening while the parents & grandparents went out to dinner. The sheets were soft, the towels fluffy and the kitchen well stocked. We want to come back next year. The only thing we’d change is maybe bring our dog. Official city policy is dogs are only allowed on leash before 9 and after 4, so we followed the guidelines and left her in Arizona. The reality is there were dogs on & off leash on the beach all day and night Our dog would love Silver Strand as much as we did! Thank you, Jeanne & Ivo! We have house envy!

Amazing super fun house.

Everything was just wonderful. Nicely supplied kitchen. Plenty of toys to play in the water. Games in the house. It is a pet friendly house so if that bothers you.... We had a great Christmas!!
