Our place is in the Arts District Downtown in a historic 6-story brick building. Built in 1900 but kept up to date with all the modern amenities (but so much character!). We are so fortunate to be able to share it with people from around the world.

THE SPACE
Go out and enjoy all the walkable sights or stay in-play a game of shuffleboard, read a book, or sip on a cup of coffee. Our goal is your utmost comfort and enjoyment while visiting the Athens of the South (aka Music City). We are complimented for comfortable beds, customer service and cleanliness (read our reviews!)
Our place has furnishings which reflect where it is located.

LIVING
You will find a record console player which doubles as a TV stand and bookshelf, along with plenty of pillows and throws to keep sitting comfortable on the sofa chair and sofa. Artwork in the living room feature the Tennessee Centennial Exposition of 1896. The cocktail table rolls away to make space for a queen air mattress or use of the sofa bed. A large Smart TV and high speed internet and wifi is provided so that can enjoy all your favorite shows on your Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube and Hulu accounts. Shuffleboard game provides entertainment for adults and kids alike.

EATING
The bar seats 4 with adjustable padded bar stools. A Keurig coffee maker is provided along with coffee and fixings. A full assortment of glassware, mugs, plates, and silverware are provided. The appliance suite includes a refrigerator with ice, dishwasher, microwave and range. Paper towels and dish soap is provided.

SLEEPING
The bedroom is the highlight of our place. We provide a King pillow-top mattress covered with soft and white bedding, an alt down comforter and 4 fluffy pillows. Each side of the bed is lit with a Tiffany style lamp for nighttime reading. We put a memory foam rug on each side of the bed so your feet come down soft first thing in the morning. The art deco style dresser is just gorgeous and has a wide mirror for getting ready for your night out. Wide drawers are stacked underneath for clothing storage. The closet has plenty of room to hang clothes on the provided clothes hangers.

A queen air mattress is provided for extra sleep arrangements.

Lavishing: The bathroom has a soaking tub with a well kept liner, shower curtain and curved shower rod for more space. We provide you with shampoo and soap to lather up. You will enjoy a soft white towel to dry off with. At the sink is a large mirror and we provide single use wipes for removing makeup after your night on the town.

Other notes: we are located in downtown Nashville and in city limits. FREE parking is for 1 vehicle in a nearby parking venue . You are staying in an historic building with one historic elevator. When its on the fritz, the stairs are the only way up to the 4th floor where the condo is located.

This was a great spot to be able to walk anywhere we needed to! A perfect spot for three best friends to catch up and come back to after adventuring all day. Plus, the history of the building made it so much cooler!

Really great location! Walkable to Broadway and easy to uber to / from other Nashville places. Environment around the vrbo was a bit loud and with only two people we ran out of hot water very quickly. Host provided many kitchen amenities and appliances which was nice. Only recommendation is to put a shower liner in the shower because water leaked out on the floor. Overall this was a nice, convenient place to stay and I would book again if I needed to be close to Broadway!

A great value. Perfect for singles or couples Very conveniently located for downtown activities. Just a quick uber or 15 minute walk to Broadway. It’s also very easy to get out of town to other areas for other activities. The unit itself was clean and comfortable. My only complaint would be upon initial arrival , just a little confusion with temporary parking until the garage parking pass could be retrieved . Overall a very good experience and would definitely stay here again

Place is in a great location. We went to a concert at Pinnacle which was just a few blocks away. Broadway street is close by as well!! Perfect spot for the price.

This is a great location with parking nearby. We walked to downtown and to the Farmers Market. Safe clean neighborhood. Enjoyed having the sound machine to mask the city noise. Check in was easy.

My overnight stay was wonderful. The condo was clean and I played shuffleboard for the first time ever! I loved the "antiquish" ambiance, it reminded me of overnight stays with my sweet grandmother as a child! The condo was within walking distance of everything we planned to do while downtown Nashville, so we did not have to move our car or pay for a driver. Downtown stays awake, so if you're a light sleeper, be prepared for the night owls late at night. The host responded within minutes of my texts if I needed anything. It was a great stay! The pictures are 100%.

I came to Nashville long ago by way of Kansas City (KCMO) with my late husband but originally from Alabama (no, I do not play the banjo). I also had a two year stint in New York (and am now addicted to NY style bagels). I love Nashville city life and enjoy the convenience of being close to so many event venues and restaurants but still walking distance to a beautiful state park and greenway. I like to furnish places and host. Oh and momming, I love my kids! I am a determined writer and aspiring morning person (ok, I admit the sunrise is beautiful, now if I could just stop yawning). I am fluent in English and Pig Latin. My Spanish is atrocious. Owner/Agent

Why they chose this property

Polk 404 is perfect for your visit to downtown Nashville. It's downtown but far enough away from the bars that you can come home to relative peace and quiet. It's still downtown though ya'll-with all the noises and interactions that come with it. I have housekeeping leave ear plugs and have noise machines as well. We didn't skimp on the bed. We have been asked multiple times by guests what kind of bed it is so they can get their own. We didn't skimp on our newest couch either. It was hard to find a good one to fit up the antique (read: small) elevator! We gave the condo interior a bit of a historic flair to go with its roots. The condo building is affixed atop President Polk's old mansion grounds.
