About this property

Clean, Modern, Lake Keowee Retreat Near Clemson

Picturesque lakeside retreat with direct access to beautiful Lake Keowee. Private entrance to this 1400 sq. foot guest suite attached to main house. You’ll have the entire guest suite to yourself. Large great room incorporates a living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Perfect for a family. Enjoy the lakefront firepit in the evenings and take the kayaks out for daytime fun on the water. Great getaway to relax, swim, kayak, jump on the water trampoline, go fishing or attend a Clemson game.

The Space
Kitchen is fully equipped with full size stove, refrigerator and microwave and even has a dishwasher. Drip coffee pot and coffee are provided. Suite also has a washer and dryer. 1 Full bathroom plus an outdoor shower with hot water. Sleeps 6. Spacious main bedroom has a king size bed. Access to the large “bunk room” is via the master bedroom. Bunk room has 4 XL twin beds “built in”.
House is lake front with easy access to the lake. No steep hills or long staircases to climb to get to and from the water (with the exception of 1 flight of stairs to enter the guest suite).
Property has a full dock which may be available if you bring or rent a boat. Please contact host in advance to discuss.
Use of kayak and adult life jackets, lake noodles and beach towels all included. **Please bring life jackets for your children if you plan to use the kayaks.**
Gas grill and patio with seating for your private use.

Guest Access
Entrance to suite is up 1 flight of stairs. Guests have direct, easy access to the lake. 16 miles from Clemson. 10 minute drive to the local ice cream shop, Scoops in Six Mile.
Important note: To enter the bunk room, you need to walk through the main bedroom. There is a door between the two for privacy, but there is no separate access to the bunk room.
Please: No smoking. No pets. No events.

Other Things to Note
There are security cameras outside the house facing away from the house. There are no cameras inside the house,
Wifi is available, but bandwidth is limited. Streaming not recommended. We have lots of board games and puzzles in case of rain.

Our family of four loved our stay at the lake! They had 2 person kayaks which was perfect for our kids who wanted to kayak but weren’t comfortable going alone. Swimming in the lake and jumping on the trampoline were so fun and the peaceful mornings waking up on the lake were amazing. Everything was super clean and the hosts are wonderful!

We wanted to stay close to The Cliffs, and this location was great! We loved the amenities offered. There were plenty of blankets and towels. We loved that the bunk room had no windows so we could sleep in without the sun coming through in the morning.

Super clean and has everything a guest would need and lots of extras, too. Comfy beds and great location on Lake Keowee. While it is attached to the owner’s home, it was very private. The owners were welcoming and friendly but not intrusive in the least. We would come back for sure!

This is a beautiful in-law apartment connected to a palace of a lake house. From a fire pit to kayaks, to a private beac front, this place will not disappoint. Modern, comfortable, with every detail considered. We will stay again next year.

We had a fantastic long weekend to celebrate a birthday. The house was well stocked, beds were comfy and location couldn’t have been better. The owners even pointed out a nesting pair of bald eagles directly across the cove. We will definitely be back!
