This was a great retreat. The cabin was spotless and the host was very responsive to any inquiries. We wanted a quiet, relaxing few days and the peaceful atmosphere was perfect.
We loved our stay here and will be back. Super clean, beautifully decorated and the bed slept great. Loved everything about this cabin. Thanks so much for sharing it.
Very nice cabin, clean, inviting, very comfortable. My buddy and I did a motorcycle ride, Atlanta to Highlands, NC, then spent the night here. After a hot day on the road we were very pleased with the accommodations, starting with the cool of the A/C, a hot shower, and a comfortable bed. Had dinner at the Dillard House. That was a pleasant experience as well. We didn’t watch TV or use the kitchen, but it seemed to have everything you would need.
We really enjoyed the cabin. It was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the porch swing in the screened in area. The cabin was very clean. That’s a big plus. We are looking forward to staying again in the future. We had great communication.

BearPaw cabin was exactly what we needed... private, quiet and plenty of room for our pup to have room to run. I would suggest making sure you have at least an SUV for the road leading up to the cabin itself but so worth every penny.
Very nice cabin. It is secluded but accessible. We had a short stay but would definitely consider a return visit. The host communicated well and responded to my questions promptly.
Love this cabin. Have been coming to Dillard ga for 40years. The town has changed a lot. But this cabin was the highlight of the trip. Will return to Dillard but only because of this cabin!!
My wife and I enjoyed a perfect weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary. Cabin was clean and easy to access. Great location and provided a wonderful home base for excursions into all the area had to offer.

About the host
Hosted by Stacy Conner McConnell
The cabin is located on land that has been in our family, the Conner’s, for almost 100 years. My father and I own and manage the cabin. He built the cabin and laid the rock fireplace himself. It is a very special place that my family loves and cherishes and we think you will feel the same.
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood is made up of all our family, cousins, uncles, and aunts so we have great neighbors but you won’t be able to see them from the secluded cabin.
What makes this property unique
I believe the solitude and seclusion are what I like most about the cabin. You feel deep within the woods and mountains but close to anything you could need or want.
