The house was a great size and pleasantly quirky but was let down by the lack of cleaning. I don't think it had been cleaned between stays apart from maybe a vacuum. Also the bbq was not usable.

There is a lot of mouse poo in the kitchen. Then we opened the cutlery draw and found a mouse running around. I was able to kill it. But there needs to be some effort put into pest control. The microwave had food splashed in it. The oven was so dirty it smoked when using it. The rest of the house was in good working order. Though the hole house could do with a deep clean. The chemney needs a sweep, only burns with door open. Good amounts of wood at house. The garden paths are slippery when wet.

Great location, amenities need updating

The house is good and solid, a little hard to find if you’re not familiar with the street.Log fire is amazing and very warm but it would have been nice to have matches and a bit of paper to help start it.A little over priced for what you get.

Disappointing

Location of property was good.I don’t normally complain about properties we stay in but this one was shocking.Cleanliness was disgusting.Oven trays in oven hadn’t been cleaned from last guests, mouse poo in kitchen cupboard. A loaf of bread in store cupboard was mouldy from previous guests. Frypans were disgusting rust and Teflon coming off.BBQ not cleaned. Mouldy windows all downstairs. Items were left in the fridge an insulin pen.Whoever cleans this house should not have a job there it has made me wonder if a cleaner actually cleaned it from the last guests. Will not stay there again.

Very good. We all settled in quite well (eight of us). Very comfortable. the Kitchen could do with a bowl. I had to make pancakes mix in a pot. Not a big deal, otherwise very good experience.
